Sammy Sosa is not even black. He's Dominican. 'Hispanic' is an ethnicity, not a race as the US Census Bureau explains here .
The Hispanic ethnicity is comprised of several races, thereby necessitating a separate classification. Of course, people like yourself, that is, people who seem to be confused about an extreme minority who are wearing contact lenses or dying their hair to stand out, like any race or ethnicity does, like to think this is some sort of national race issue where blacks want to look white because they admire them, or at a minimum, be exposed to the privilege whites currently enjoy.
Outwardly, you like to portray yourself as confused, or amused by the 'blacks trying to be whites' trend (which has been debunked above anyhow). By inwardly, you actually have the same fears legions of prejudiced whites have had throughout history; that is, your race will be watered down and corrupted if imitated or 'inter-reproduced'.
