Going to start getting serious at the gym again. Loking for a good protein shake to start taking. Used to take Myoplex Deluxe and saw awesome results but it has been discontinued. Anyone, have any suggestions??? I believe the Myoplex Deluxe used to promote the fact it contained L-Cartinine(sp) and Glutamine. Possibly, they are the active ingredients that helped me see quicker results. Anyway, tried a google search on the topic and wasn't confident of the choices that popped up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah. Don't feel like doing steroids again. Maybe, I can buy some type of shake weight that will shoot a protein shake directly into my mouth after a certain amount of time. Kill two birds with one stone kind of thing.

I don't think any shake weight product yet exists that will time release protein shakes into my mouth. New topic. How do I go about getting a patent on such an idea???

You might want to try the Food Forum. I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions about what to put in your protein shake.......

can't beat Chocolate Milk, cheap and cheerful, healthy and nutritious, refreshingly hydrating, tasty luscious, scrumptiously delicious, appetizingly magnificent, protein complement astounding

All protein powder has glutamine (or glutamic acid) as well as other BCAA's

The best all around protein powder is ON Gold Standard 100% Whey. It's won "Supplement of the year" & "Protein powder of the year" the past 6 straight years and has everything you need.  If your looking to bulk up I'd consider adding a weight gainer to the mix

What are your goals?

Sometimes the cheap ones at costco or local monstro-mart or whatever are the best.  Low carb very basic Concentrate/Isolate will lean you out good fella.

Was taking Metrx Protein Plus for years because I felt the Myoplex was getting too expensive, but I definitely felt better results from the Myoplex. Trying to find something similar to the Myoplex that will give me more immediate results.

Protein is protein  don't buy the expensive designer garbage. Get whey protein to take in the a.m., pre and post workouts. If you have a few extra $ to spend also get soy protein to add to your post workout and to also take before you go to sleep.

There is no magic pill, obviously; want to look good and lean out? Eat healthy, stop the sugar, excess sodium, processed foods, and work up a sweat. Protein isn't going to magically create muscle.

For OP, I love Muscle Milk's flavors - some of the best tasting stuff out there, but it gave me frequent gas. I switched over to Myofusion and don't have the gas at all. It also seems like it's more smooth compared to Muscle Milk, and there are less chunks when I shake up. Hope this helps!

muscle milk is terrible for you... has so much sugar and fat in it that it's not even funny.... buy the generic GNC whey and you won't go wrong...

These are the rooks of 10 clueless years of garbage training and still eye balls powders at the local GNC (probably a 20 maybe early 30 something year old "trainer"at 24 hour fitness), drains the fuckin wallet on that bullshit, never gains any substantial density or power, has no genetics, awful eating habits, inbred metabolism, overtrains constantly, has a fuckin laugher muscle group routine, talks in the gym betwwen sets about sports for 10 minutes, talks on the cell phone as well and walks around with it strapped to that 11 inch arm...

Funny garbage. See ém every day.... comedy.

Do ya bother to train legs or just rely upon the protien powder and long jogs?  Fuckin moron.

Check out Visalus Sciences new Fit kit. Unbelieveable products, a lot of UFC fighters, boxers and athletes are on this and no, they are not getting paid to take it.
