#164 Posted: 10/31/2007 11:55:27 AM Have you ever been harrased or physically threatened in anyway since your win? I'm asking because part of the rules in this survivor pool is as quoted "By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Contest."
Could you explain this part of the rule under condition of participation. thx. |

#165 Posted: 10/31/2007 12:35:51 PM Evolvedone,
This simply means that if you become injured by a prize that you have won in our contest, then we are not held accountable.
For example, if you win a TV, and it falls on you, we are not liable.
Regards,

#169 Posted: 12/8/2007 8:41:36 PM pay no taxes on contest winnings in Canada
It's about the ONLY thing you don't pay taxes for up there!
Just kidding! I say taxes are the price for a civil society. To those in the US that don't want to pay ANY taxes....Isay fine! No fire, police, ambulance, roads, water, sewers, schools, parks, defense etc. Let those 'for profit' services be your way....let's see how you like it! |

#170 Posted: 12/8/2007 8:52:15 PM I agree with Tuppy that patients are the key. Heck when I got to 11 this year I was nervous. Isn't it weird that somebody wins during the MLB season?
Congrats Tuppy, I bet this is a great Christmas for you even though you won 7 months ago!
I can remember winning $4,000 in a contest in 2003 about a month before Christmas. IT WAS GREAT!
Sorry to bring up an old thread, I came here for another reason and saw this.
