#1 Posted: 9/19/2007 12:04:56 AM Is this guy serious?
Peyton Manning has been a top 5 all time QB and got shelled for his post season performances until breaking through. Rex Grossman takes the most abuse in the league. I think it's pretty much equal opporunity bashing when it comes to color of the QB skin. But, inequality once there's a ring on your finger.
Favre is a prime example as he is a great QB but, makes some bone headed decisions and leaves his team hanging every offseason. Yet, Madden jerks off to his picture on the cruiser. |

#3 Posted: 9/19/2007 12:36:50 AM McNabb has quickly turned into my most hated athlete.......the guy is just looking for excuses because he sucks. People have been actually scared to criticize him bc of what Rush said and got in trouble for. |

#9 Posted: 9/19/2007 1:16:54 PM I think the Phillies expected this when they drafted a QB in the 2nd round. Too bad they don't have Garcia anymore because at least Garcia would have given them a good chance to win that weak division.

#11 Posted: 9/21/2007 2:26:48 AM I live in the Philly area. Hate the Eagles. Watching games since Donavan came to Philly, he's been a little girl. All he was capable of doing was being able to run, which he cant do anymore. B4 the injury, after his injury, b4 his death, he will never be able to throw. Fact, Garcia got the Eagles there last year. Fact, TO got them there b4, and being the uncle-tom that he is, Mcnabb is losing, and TO(boys 2-0) |

#15 Posted: 9/21/2007 8:24:04 AM Saintsfan504.......In defense of Owens, what he showed me during the 2005 Super Bowl was amazing. Man amoungst boys. He made catches that were behind him, high, and low. The only passes that TO couldn't make were the famous McNabb bounce pass, the same passes he made at Syracuse.....on the basketball court.
McNabb doesn't get what the Eagles fans want.....A Super Bowl win. McNabb doesn't get the fact that in a West Coast Offense, the QB numbers will look respectable. Throw the ball 40 to 50 times, and your yardage will look good.
Plain and Simple.......McNabb can't get it done in the big games. Nothing against his skin color.....just win.
To throw out the race card is nothing more than "Typical" to me. I would expect nothing less from him.
If I am off base tell me......This guy has been in my head since Monday night. |

#16 Posted: 9/21/2007 8:24:33 AM As a huge Eagles fan (5'11", 210 lbs), I've grown to dislike McNabb, not as much for his racist accusations, as his increasing inability to lead the Eagles. Both which seem to grow as time passes. McNabb is 1-6 in his last 7 starts and some equally as ugly in his last 20. It's the sports hernia injury, not the ACL that he's never recovered from. I can't stand athletes who have the oppertunity to be a city's most loved athlete and piss it away by opening their mouth. Not to mention that everything McNabb says is wrong and confusing. Every year in training camp McNabb says the same thing..."I'm the leader of this team." If your the leader of this team, do you really need to say that every single year? McNabb accurancy is decreasing at a rate only surpassed by the unwillingness of the Eagles' brass to bring in (Moss) or keep (TO) a superstar receiver that can create enough separation to snag McNabb errant throws. I'm not one of those fans to wish harm on any athelte, but the best thing for the Eagles might be yet another season ending injury to McNabb (the sooner the better). Bring in Kolb, get some starts under his belt. That way next season he has a foundation to build on. With the recent sucess of rookie QBs, who knows, Kolb might put a string of wins together. All the other Eagle back-ups (Feeley, Detmer, Garcia) have some degree sucess. My faith in McNabb's ability to right this ship and lead this team to the playoffs is non-existant.
