Well, first of all - I didn't ask. But, if you'd like for me to rip that reasoning to shreds, here you are:
I won't even acknowledge your reference to last time because IF that accomplished anything, it has reinforced the revenge angle I mentioned in my first post.
There is a constant "fraying" at the Staples Center. There has been small to large amount of "fray" ever since Shaq was still in the building. It doesn't end with the Lakers and they truly belong in Hollywood. Kobe himself acknowledged the benching and took it in stride. Anybody who uses the Lakers "troubles" anymore when capping or even looking at a Laker game is lazy and is obviously having trouble finding more than one or two advantages for the team they WANT to like.
Kobe has "a little more help" in the backcourt? Is this a joke? Sessions is heads and tails and then another six flips of the coin above Derek Fisher. If you want to compare Bryant/Sessions against Westbrook/Sefolosha, I'd be more than happy to. But, I'm assuming you're a reasonable person and know that that's a lost cause.
The Lakers would be stupid to try and outscore Durant - and that's why they have Ron Ron. World Peace, while completely off of his rocker, remains a good defender against other teams' best players. To say that "Thabo Sefolosha" will keep a scorned Kobe "in relative check," is to suggest there are only so many parts of Kobe's game that the other team can manage. Same with Durant. I will take Artest covering Durant if that means Kobe can toy around with a returning-from-injury Sefolosha.

The only reason my write-up was as large as it was is because I hate seeing people complain about picking a game w/ no back-up. As I just replied in post #18, OKC is by far the better team. However, if you simply place bets on the better team each night, regardless of the spread, you're going to have a rough outing. I think the Lakers are in a perfect spot to pull off a big win against a susceptible OKC team; the rest of those details are just that - details.
So what you are saying is that because you wrote a mini book, that you are correct. PLZ, if the Lakers lose then the w/u was a waste. I mean there are good cappers on here that dont do writeups, they dont complain about losses. Dont get me wrong, your writeup was good, one thing it did for sure is definitely sold the ones that know nothing about betting, or the game to say the least, on betting on this team. I hope the Lakers win, Im also rooting for the other cappers on here that dont do writeups who are also on the Lakers, Im sure they dont think they are the answer to the forum.

Wow you call sticking up for another poster being called out. I was just voicing my opinion on that poster, the same way you butted in and posted yours about my opinion. Its all good, but did you ever think that maybe I saw something that you didnt about that poster. Im sure you dont babysit that person. I just had to respond, because you were the only one that defended that person like I said something harsh, anyway like I said nice writeup. Lakers to the bank, and thanks for taking the time to do the writeup, everyone doesnt have the time to do that.

... but you do have time to follow me around from day to day. Gave you one second of my time yesterday and you had to make sure you followed up on it today. I've got time to organize thoughts on bets, yes (who likes to bet blindly?) and since it's 2012, it only takes me a few minutes to organize those on a keyboard. Go Lakers!

The total makes me a little nervous. It's my thinking that when the Lakers win this game, it will be based on ball-control and not because they were able to out-run the Thunder. My thought would be that a Laker win is more consistant with the under, but I haven't looked into it too much. If you've got any stats and/or trends that go towards the OVER, then you've got more info than I do. GL.

Please dont flatter yourself internet guy. Follow you around, LOL. Im surfing the forum. 2012, so what the other cappers that dont post a reasoning for their picks are not good cappers. Who cares how long it takes, their records should speak for themselves. If someone wants to tail them blindly then thats their stupidity, just like if someone wants to pay for picks, thats their stupidity. Just because you wrote a book doesnt mean that you are better than the cappers that post daily with winning records and no writeups. Writeups are not always necessary, because there is no guarantee to none of this, I dont care if you write a book or not about 1 game. After someone caps a game for some time, they might not feel like doing writeups. Just dont let the long writeup go to your head, surf the forum, their are good cappers on here, without egos.

I'm not sure where you think I've got some fascination with my long write-up. There are excellent cappers that write much less, there are excellent cappers that write much more. When I made the comment "this is why I made is so long," I was referring to people that go into others threads and say "oh, so just the pick? that's stupid." I also appreciate some information behind my picks but by no means does that mean other people don't research just because they don't type it out. I wrote the way I like to see picks made and I do see that quite a bit on this forum. I'm not unique because I wrote a couple of paragraphs and besides, it's quality not quantity. I have no qualms with people that don't make write-ups - my issue was with people who discredit picks that don't have write-ups accompanying them. I am trying to avoid the latter. Seems pretty simple to me.

Ok understood, I mean that was a hell of a writeup you did. I mean I wish I could do a writeup like that. I just see alot of good cappers go unrecognized on here, I thought you were taking a shot at them. Thanks for the breakdown, BOL to you and all of us on the LAKERS tonite. Also going unrecognized on here is no biggy because at the end of the nite, its about how much their winnings are.
