I'm a fan of the show, but have to agree with some other in this thread that it has been boring of late.  It started late in the 1st season and with the exception of a couple this year, it is a friggin drag to watch.  Sticking with it because it still is solid and I love the time period and all.....

Rating are pretty awful for a show with such a giant budget.  Hopefully it gets a couple more years to tie up all the plot lines.

That might have been the most boring scene I have ever seen on a premium cable show.

Think Dexter is one of the best if not best out right now.  Dexter and Californiacation are the only 2 wins Showtime pulled on HBO.  Otherwise HBO does own all.

Homeland.

As for Dexter, that use to be my favorite show, but it has really gone downhill the past two seasons.  It’s still pretty good, but nowhere close to as good as it use to be, IMO.

Boardwalk is the best show out in my opinion.  I find myself watching some episodes more than once.  It's easy to miss little things on that show.  Arnold Rothstein, Chalky White, Richard Harrow, Jimmy Darmody...all FANTASTIC characters.  I look forward to this show every week.

And they've already signed on for a third season.

Best show since Deadwood.

If you guys really stopped watching then you missed the best show by far. The last 15 minutes took a huge surprising turn that left me and my GF speechless for 10 minutes afterwards.

The intro is also one of the best I've ever seen. The symbolism, along with the kick behind guitar riffs is stunning. The acting is 1A, the plot formation could use a little work. Still one of the best shows on TV!!

<Spoilers>

While it did get better towards the end of the season as a whole  it was still pretty bad.

I think everyone knew once Jimmy told the mask to stay home that was it for Jimmy.  Jimmy was the only character on the show I was even slightly rooting for.

Now with him gone I’m left with a boring show with a bunch of characters I couldn’t care less about.

That’s probably it for me.

I just finished watching both seasons. I liked it quite a lot... now i am looking forward to season 3 that will be more into the whole gangster thing and less about politicians.
