They should just go to the 3-2-1-0 system.

Win in RegTime=3 pts

Win in OT = 2 pts

Win in So = 1 pts

and NO Friggin points at all for any kind of loss.

Teams would play much harder to try and win games when they are supposed to and NOT sit back and wait for a free point with the chance to get another in a skills competition.

 Good Luck

POTVIN - They use to just use regulation losses as the tiebreaker? Now it is ROW instead it looks like

The Jets are probably the best bet on the board... TB has got to be dog tired having played all these games lately. This will be thier 5th in 8 nights. (2-0 at home then 0-2 on road since then including a loss at the Leafs L-game).

The price for the Jets(-145) is nice and the Jets have won 3 of the 5 meetings this season including 3 of the L-4 played. The Bolts won the last meeting 3-2(SO) in Tampa played on 3/31/12. That win is included in the stats mentioned above for TB's L-4 games in 7 nights.

The two TB wins were the 3-2(SO) game and a 1-0 game also played in TB... When in Winnipeg the Jets have won both this season by scores of 5-2 and 4-3 both in RegTime.

I really like the Jets to finish the season on a high note in front of thier fans who have shown to be a big motivation factor for them in home games.

TB will try (and I hope he gets it) to get Stamkos that 60th goal but the Jets should get the win.

FOR DOG PLAYS - I like the Ducks(+120) who are at CGY and also the Canes(+158) who are at FLA. The Ducks are playing hard still but the Canes could be a coin flip... If they arrive in FLA with Golf Clubs also all bets are off.

I also will run with my Kings(+120) to keep that 3rd seed.

I think that at the price... EDM(+205) is worth a parlay play at VAN. or a straight wager especially IF the Blues lose and the Rangers win in earlier games because VAN would not be able to move up or down in the race for #1 overall in the NHL and VAN will have also clinched the #1 in the West if the Blues lose at Dallas... and STL is playing losing hockey lately.

It would be nice to cash in on the last big dog of the regular season

I also like NewJersey(-135) a lot tomorrow at home vs Ottawa but ONLY if Brodeur is playing because that would show me that they will try and win the game... If they start a backup I would not touch them or that game.

Nothing else is worth a play to me.

Good Luck with you selections

Righty-oh

I did not see the updated standings and forgot they played today.

I'll still ride with LA.

I like the over 5 in the Kings game and will probably also be on the Kings as well....can't believe Sharks got away with poking the puck away on the bench

After carefully examining the card for tomorrow it would appear the Nashville Predators @ 1.76 would be the most logical team to place a wager on.

IF Detroit loses earlier in the day... Then the Preds will have absolutely no reason to risk injury by trying hard to win this game.

I'm just saying...

Check the boxscore before you place that ticket.

I will wait untill faceoff, the Wings will battle for home ice, if thats the case the Preds will roll over an Avs team that has already mentally checked out. PL perhaps as well.

Chicago is 9-3-2 in the last 15 trips to Joe Louis Arena dating back to 07-08 season, including a 3-0-0 mark last season and 1-0-1 record heading into this game.

That's right. The 3rd place seed lies in Phoenix' game: if the Coyotes beat Minnesota in the earlier game (8 p.m. est), then the Kings cannot catch them. The Coyotes are the front runners to end up with the 3rd seed in the west.
