You couldn't pay me to live down there. It's 60 and breezy and sunny in Wisconsin today. Feels great. |

#2 Posted: 9/14/2011 3:05:57 PM I was in Dallas for a couple weeks during that heat wave. It was pretty hot, but not unbearable. I was sweating bullets the whole Ranger game I went to though. That's a tough ball park to sit out in the sun in for a few hours |

That's Arizona where they say that. It is hot as hell here and this year was insane. It hasn't rained in months, there are wildfires all over the place and the lakes are drying up. It's all you can do to keep your landscaping alive. Hottest summer ever down here.

#10 Posted: 9/14/2011 10:36:26 PM Sorry, but I love the heat down here. I wish we could some rain, other than on Wednesday when I throw my golf tournament, but the warmth is great. Having a pool certainly helps my opinion also. Plus the golf courses aren't very busy in the afternoons when it is 103 with 60% humidity! |

How is that working out with T Boone owning all the water supplies down there during a drought?

#16 Posted: 9/15/2011 12:01:17 AM I lived in Wisconsin for 5 years. The winters are pretty brutal. I'd rather be in the Texas heat any day. The wind chill that comes off the lakes is miserable. It made the decision to walk to class a very easy one some days. |

#20 Posted: 9/15/2011 11:19:56 AM It's always hot in Texas during the summer. Sure it was a couple degrees hotter this summer, but it didn't feel any different. The lack of rain was bad though. But the girls here make up for it anyways. You can live up in Wisconsin with your cottage cheese girls. I'll live through the heat for 3 months. |

#21 Posted: 9/15/2011 11:35:52 AM I curse the world when we get 5 month long winters where you don't see the sun for 2-3 weeks at a time, but the handful of 60-70 degree fall days with the sun shining we get almost makes up for it, to be honest. Plenty warm without sweating your behind off. |
