#162 Posted: 10/7/2012 10:51:09 AM Hey ya'll,
I've been reading your stuff a lot this season and commented here and there, thanks for your plays. I was wondering what some of you thought about chasing the NFL. The Redskins have had an O/U record of 4-0, I'm thinking about jumping in on their under. The weather is cooling down and RG3 may not like the cooler temps he's gonna face from here on out, not to mention, the high-powered Falcons come into town, giving us a great total of 51. I mean, seriously, how many games can one NFL team from a bad-weather city win in a row vs the O/U? |

#163 Posted: 10/7/2012 10:56:09 AM Semper u listed Balt as chase play and over, then changed to under. Will u chase the under?
If so, are those the only chases?

Its rg3 vs ryan, shootout. Are you kidding me, even if the game unexpectedly goes under, it definitely wasn't meant to. Both team secondaries aren't the greatest. I'm on the skins but I do have the over included in a parlay 11.
Good luck |

#166 Posted: 10/7/2012 11:05:07 AM Bense- I thought the same thing, once...I believe the reason these chases work for MLB and no other sport is b/c of parity. Most teams have b/w 35 & 65% win %, so for the most part, you have a high % of series not being sweeps. Add the likes of guys on this thread being really good at picking games and you have a great system.
For football, I back tested a lot of scenarios and there are plenty of teams going 8-11 games straight of covering or going over. That's a lot of losing weeks, a huge bankroll and a lot of risk. As with all gambling- it pays off at times, but too much risk IMO. GL if you decide to chase it! |

#167 Posted: 10/7/2012 11:18:44 AM As you can see, Mia and Sea are the only 2 who fit more than 1 angle.
I also like Wash and Denver today. Waiting so see if more points coming to Denver would like to get over 7.
I always try to buy at least one-half point over 3, 7, 10, 14, etc and under those if playing favorite. Will buy one point sometimes to avoid the hook but it gets expensive buying above and below 3 in my book but I always at least get half point over or under 3 if I can.
It is not as expensive buying over 7, 10 and 14 so I will usually buy to 8, 11, 15. My main book only allows 1 point buy and smaller book 1.5. Use your own judgement. The juice only hurts if you lose!
These angles can always be found if you would like to be an insider and be aware of all the angles and know how to use google.
I didn't post all of the NCAA angles yesterday but went 1-2 on the best one. Will check later to see how the others did.

Thanks for the input, very good info and I agree with the parity angle for baseball I'll just sit it out |

#171 Posted: 10/7/2012 11:53:18 AM nase, that column is always 1st to score as far as I know, it has always been.
Shiman, great day for NCAA correlated parlays for me! I only had 3 games and hit one of the 2 on each one. That was 4.8 unit profit.

#172 Posted: 10/7/2012 12:09:49 PM I wish we could set up some kind of alert system like twitter, so I don't have to spend the whole day behind a computer waiting for halftimes...BOL everbody.
Home favorites are due so I'm on Pitt and Carolina.

#175 Posted: 10/7/2012 12:31:55 PM I came here looking for a second afternoon game to play in case I got to hedge a bit and boom, Angle gives me the Hawks on the road. Sounds good to me, thanks man. Got it at +3.5!
