Prospect Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 173 Location: United States	#1 Posted: 3/15/2012 2:12:31 PM I recently took my car to the shop for an oil change and they charged me 10-12 dollars more on the oil change than what the advertised price said because they said my Toyota took a special oil filter. Does this sound legit?

What if you only expected to pay the advertised price and didn't have the cash to pay the addtional charge ? Very shady.
