#3 Posted: 2/7/2012 11:51:33 PM I think the Ford's in general are going to be the car's to beat. I just think Carl has something this year, I mean he was a model of consistancy last year. If Stewart doesn't win 4/10 races Carl breezes to the title. I dont think he'll let the curse affect him like it did with Denny and Rowdy.

#8 Posted: 2/8/2012 9:56:19 AM Stats,
I had Stewart Futures including betting him every race of the chase last year
I agree Brad K Struggles this year. I like Kahne alot but I don't think he gets it done this year.
I like Kenseth as value the value wasn't there for it. |

But I would lean Stewart, Harvick, Bowyer, JR
Vegas,
I think Kasey is going to be the boom/bust driver this year... |

I'm with you on this all the way. Remember he was chasing 2 years ago. I think calling him a darkhorse might actually be cutting him short.

#19 Posted: 2/9/2012 8:28:13 AM PSM,
Don't waste your money on futures in nascar unless you are getting 15-1 or better. there is always better value right before the chase or once someone has a bad week in it. Just don't see any reason to tie up good money that can be used to make more money during the season. GL this year. |

#20 Posted: 2/9/2012 11:56:38 PM Shooter,
These are the only time I'll get odds from the local all season long have to put em in at what he gives them. Otherwise no shot for them later.
I meant Montoya as a darkhorse chase contender as a top 5-6 driver. He has the talent its his head isnt screwed on tight. The Busch borthers my be more calm behind the wheel! ha |

#22 Posted: 2/12/2012 9:44:48 AM Agreed Carl will be different. he is a gifted driver and with Roush being down to 3 drivers there are een more resources to make sure he is stout.
i think the 29 is going to be there this year. Got rid of the truck and nationwide stuff and can concentrate on the Cup thing. Harvick is going to get it and soon.
48 IMO will bounce back big or the team falters again and the team gets dismantled after 2012.
I don't know if Kahne is ready for the expectations. Great driver, best equipment ever, same CC but these expctations are nothing like he has ever had. I think he wins a couple and competes for a chase spot but i doubt he wins the chase in 2012.
PRS has just entered into the premier in Nascar. Dinger will be a nice addition to the Team and I fully disagree about Brad K. He will be a contender again for many years to come. The kid has the passion and talent and will to continue this run. I am telling you he is the cat to watch in 2012. I know that is hard to say after the run he had last year but it will continue.
Going to be a fun one this year |
