I have a funny one for you. I was just picking a friend up at the Airport and I had my Bruins jersey on. A little Habs fan comes running over and says there not going to win there not going to win. I say do you want to bet , how much? I say $100 and he looks confused and says yes. I have his business card and he has my cell number. I dont know if he will answer my call my once we crush the Habs tonight. I will keep you posted.

you have no way to make the guy pay, and then if you lose you feel like a fool for paying a guy that likely would not pay you

It's only $100..i think it's worth it just for the sake of a good story..kind of interesting to see if the guy will pay. |

It is tough enough getting paid from a friend or acquaintance after you win a bet. On the other hand, a stranger is a whole lot tougher and less likely. If you do win your bet, get used to his secretary or him constantly reminding you that he is busy or in a meeting, regardless of when you try to get a hold of him. And that is even if he answers your calls in the first place. |
