Lucky you.
I'm not one to criticize, but just look at those 4 leans. 4 of the potentially worst teams in all of MLB. Saturdays traditionally don't yield many upsets. Home favorites are the rule. Best of luck, Jose

287. That's the combined number of games those teams lost last year. BOL today, I DO like Houston....that's about it

Appreciate the advice, Getty.  I was not aware of the home favorite angle on Saturdays either.  My leans are usually not thought out, and really are just my first instinct when looking at the match ups.  This list is definitely chock full of the worst MLB has to offer.  Your comments have always helped, so keep em coming.  What do you think about the Rays and Hellickson today?  Leaning their way right now.

Not me, in fact I was an inch away from laying the -130 on Boston. The kid is a budding Greg Maddux, relying on location and multiple speeds to get pitch to contact outs. This ballpark and Boston team leaves little margin for error. The fact he's coming off a mild concussion on Wednesday makes me leery of his focus which needs to be sharp to be effective. Ellsbury's absence is why I won't play the Sox. I think he's one of the 5 most important position players in the game.

Completely over looked the concussion.  I was actually forced to quit playing contact sports by my doctor, in my 2nd year of college because of concussions.  I absolutely understand how brain injuries affect focus and concentration.  I can't imagine pitching on the road in Fenway, days after getting my dome rocked.  Any loud noise at all is unbearable, and will be tough to deal with.  Appreciate your thoughts Getty.  Good luck with your card.

I am eager to see Joe Wieland make his debut against the Dodgers tonight.  Kid has been dominant in the minors, and is getting his shot today with the Dustin Moseley injury.  He faces Lilly, who is coming off the DL.  Good spot for the rookie, imo.  Might be adding the Pirates and Pads later.

I really like Jonathan Niese.  Kid is a bulldog, and should give the Mets a chance today.  Really think this Philly lineup is overrated.

Unlike most here, I like Charlie Morton.  Been rooting for this kid to put it together for a couple years now.  Like his chances today against Zito.  Tend to think Zito regresses a touch from his shutout last time.

Just some random thoughts before I head out for the day.

Absolutely MM.  I've spent a large amount of my free time over the last 10 years, researching brain injuries and such.  There is just so much we don't know about it.  I've already donated my brain to concussion research, when I pass.  Concussions have changed my life forever, and I just hope that I can make a difference, even if just a little.
