he had his arm pinned which restricted durant from elevating and gettin clean look. clearly a foul that has to b called battier was still moving on that block he slid under durant after durant already left ground so thats the 50/50 call and they made the right 1.  So u guys would of rathered fouled durant out on a 50/50 call made by the biggest flopper in nba come get real.

Personally I think that if the heat do win the series that there likely will be (or at least should be) an asterisk next to it because of how impactful that terrible no call was.

This is ridiculous. Do you guys who are complaining watch the NBA? There are occasional exceptions but for the most part a player has to draw considerable blood for there to be a call in the last few seconds of a game.
Did he touch him? Yes absolutely! Is it a foul? Maybe but it definitely would have been a far bigger controversy if they blew the whistle than if they didn't. That's why they don't call it, they let the players decide it.

As for it being a foul OKC didn't moan about it after the game, that's enough for me to believe it wasn't egregious. I think they know if they didn't sleepwalk for the first quarter the call would have have been irrelevant.

for those who keep using the argument that Durant should have been called for a charge earlier... there is a flaw in your argument...

prior to that alleged charge, Westbrook was called for a charge that was very questionable... a couple minutes later, Lebron was not called for a charge that was nearly identical to the call made on Westbrook...

these charging calls go either way, and of the 3 in question, the one that was not called on Lebron was the most textbook definition of a charge, where the player had established position outside of the circle before Lebron was in the air...

the call we are talking about is not questionable... it is not debatable... and it was a call that would have most likely tied up the game and given a strong chance of sending the game into OT, with OKC having siezed the momentum...

you're simply full of garbage if you are trying to argue against this...

i happened to win 2 units on this game, with a parlay on Miami ML and OV 194... and a teaser on Miami (+10.5) / UN 201.5... i lost no money on this game...

but it pisses me off anytime i see refs giving the game to 1 team in a critical game in the playoffs... and it SHOULD piss you off, too, if you were a true basketball fan...

which you are not!

Think about this, it may be true.
The perennial bridesmaid chasing it every year. Most hate the dude anyways, me included.
I think the game was a classic NBA rig. That said, it is only to keep it close and interesting. Thunder are way too much. KD is classy. Westbrook is a talent . Sefoloshin and Ibaka are great pieces. League hates Hardin but at least he stays out of a lot of trouble.
The Dynasty starts here, all aboard!

If you think the NBA is rigged you also think WWF was real...pull the dildo out from between your ears and really think about how idiotic ou sound.  You sound like MEL GIBSON.

I get what you are trying to say......referees are part of the game....and their calls....non-calls....are also part of the game

I can remember a couple of famous highlights where referees just let them play late and didn't call anything on the offensive player

1...

Michel Jordan is one on one vs Byron Russell of Utah Jazz...at or near the top of the key around one of the elbows....he takes a few dribbles.....PUSHES OFF ON BYRON RUSSELL....to get some separation....referees did not blow the whistle....you guessed it.....MJ hit the shot and stroke a pose

2.

Indiana was trailing the bulls.....MJ is guarding reggie miller.....its an out of bounds play....referee blows the whistle.....reggie pushes MJ and gets some separation ...runs around his picks....MJ is chasing him but does not catch up.....reggie miller hits the three at the buzzer to win the game.

referees sometimes let the players decide the game unless they a player is just assaulted....and clearly gains an advantage...a push off to me gives a player some separation...but referees back in the 1990s chose to let them play and guess what,.......neither of those games have an * next to them

OK, can we stop this thread, EVERYBODY knows he was fouled, if you think that was the only call missed all game you're nuts.
Also, Durant should not have been able to get fouled as HE should have been fouled out earlier on a no call.
BOTTOM LINE, he should have made that shot regardless as the foul did not affect the shot.

WESTBROOK LOST THE GAME PERIOD!

I don't mind the people who say games are never fixed ( they are ) and I don't mind the people who say Lebron is one of the best ever ( he's not ) and I don't even mind the people who deny that Stern has mandated Lebron be in the Finals ( he has ), but how brain-dead do you have to be to claim that the refs didn' t completely botch the last shot by Durant, where he was clearly ( and repeatedly ) fouled ? That epitomizes " brain-dead ". Watch the game !

I had a very small $20 bet on miami +5.5. The only thing I'm talking about is the last shot of Kevin Durant. I play the game of basketball and in all honesty that shot is very hard to make when you get hit in the abdomen. And I called miami winning the championship as soon as durant didnt get a foul called. SO STFU HATERS!!

why are so many people bitching about this one call? if you people that are crying about it had even half a brain you would realize that Durant shouldnt even have been in the game to take that shot because that blocking call on s.b. was clearly a charge which would have caused durant to foul out, but the refs not only let durant slide on the charge by making it a no call, they had to make the call 100 times worse and call a block, so stop your friggin crying and realize you were on the wrong side.

douchebags arguing that Durant shouldn't have been in the game... do us all a favor and leave this forum to those who get basketball, and can grasp the difference between the two calls...

especially in light of the charge that was NOT called on Lebron just prior to that... which was far more egregious than the one people are saying Durant committed...

Umm..probably because if Durant gets 2 free throws there was a 87% chance it was a tie game with 10 seconds left....

Im guessing thats why people are upset
