Yeah both Cleveland and Pittsburgh have faltered in the 2nd Half the last few years. I will give the Pirates credit for upgrading their pitching staff which is something that Cleveland hasn't done. You're most likely correct Plisskin that Cleveland is a great candidate for fading down the stretch.

Yeah,  I normally use the system during the NBA, but it would work in NFL as well. You could always start on a  smaller scale as well, but I recommend at least +300 for two of your bets and +100 for the other two

Oh and a simple streak survivor system (Im sure you guys have thought of this already) would be to bet AGAINST The guys who are on 16-0+ win streaks, as they are due to lose. Don't do it too often, just once in a while and steadly increase your bet until they lose.

The 2nd game of the DH between the Giants and the Red will be played with the Reds as the home team even though the game is in SF. Currently the Reds are winning Gm.1 8-2 in the 7th. I expect the Reds to win this game. As we know DH sweeps are rare therefore the play for today would the Giants in the 2nd game of the DH and Zito will be on the mound. Good Luck!

He seems to have the streaks right now  but still hasn't totaled the win/loss columns right--- b-ball either---both those pools have mistakes,I even 'phoned covers, 1st time I've done that !

What's up fellas! I have been busy with my Fantasy Football leagues getting set up. I run 2 of them. The best site by far is www.myfantasyleague.com. The features on that site is incredible. This year I am creating videos for all the teams. Check mine out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpoqEVwwl1g

I also run a league on Yahoo. That's the $25 Dime Club league. Crush is in that one as well. I know some of you guys don't play Fantasy Football but the people that do you know it ups your interest in the games exponentially. Good luck to everyone in the upcoming season.

Remember?: well let's get working together and perhaps one of us can grab a serious streak in Aug. or else win the monthly. Hate to post twice in a row , but cannot find a SS pick for today---the 1st of a new month yet --- was thinking Jays/Angels over 8, even St. Louis again, or Seattle with Hernandez vs Dempster under 8.5. Got a doctors appointment right now so I'll check back in a few hours---takes ??? to get there depending on the state of roads (gravel) .  Thanx and

No worries. Post away. Not too many choices today. I went with the under 8.5 in the sox mariners game. Felix has been a gem lately and I don't like the mariners offense so I'm thinking a 3-2 maybe 4-3 game. Would put me at 3 if it hits. Good luck everybody!
