I'm sure Covers were fading me after hitting 17... b/c $100K is a lot to lose.

Actually. I meant it to say " the Thunder/Laker game went under " as refering to your 19th pick and the end of the streak. |

I'm not sure why you're ranting about my post(s). Maybe it's because I mistakenly put over instead of under. Maybe it's because I said I was baffled MRJ didn't abandon the monthly contest in favor of the larger streak prize which was within sight. I DO understand you have up to 7 days to decide between each pick.
Correct, I never made the money gambling you mentioned and probably will never reach the greatness you have obtained. |

Advertisements and GP's I guess. The cost of hats and hoodies handed out couldn't be that great, along with the $1k. Not sure how many times they've had to award huge cash prizes, but as difficult as it is to streak that long, it must be very few. |

I understand Tuppy was rewarded $100K when it was just needed to win 21 in a row. Another user Claudio played so long ago.. I don't know what the prize $$ was at the time.
it will be awhile for me to receive my hat and hoodie but those are very hard to achieve in the streak. my previous best streak was 8 (done 2x).
today look like a slam dunk on Mets or Heat/Pacers (182) UNDER and stopped a lot of streaks today.

#83 Posted: 5/26/2012 2:34:16 PM Not raining on your parade, you guys go and chase the rainbow all day. I am just saying maybe your efforts in life could be concentrated on better activities, like school or work. No problem. Say the odds are not 50/50 but 60/40 (and 60% cappers are very rare) you could probably bring this down to 15 million to 1 or so. Nah- I am not a guy to just bash, you guys , good luck, knock it out of the park, just saying maybe you should work on your education and careers more. Sorry you do not like the pix, I personally think that girl is so smoking hot I married her ...

#84 Posted: 5/26/2012 2:35:33 PM I imagine with all the work you put in this, you could make .25/hour or so. And yes, I have and will cash dime plays in the past.

you don't need to pick everyday... but need to make a pick at least once per week. Covers will post a deadline when your last pick can be. Yes.. you need to win 17 wins in a row for $1K. hey its free... so give it a try.. best of luck. |

way too close, me and stephgame had the same monthly W/L record. Stephgame won b/c of more games won overall.
the streak made me a better baseball handicapper... I don't know my streak record since May but should be pretty good.
good luck on your picks. |
