When he was the defensive cord. for the Giants and playing Buffalo in the SB......He said "boys...I've got a game plan here that's going to work, but I need your help to make it happen. It's going to require letting Thurmon Thomas rush for over a 100 yards."
The defense was pissed and vocal about that not happening. But they used the extra men to shut down there passing game, and slowly rotated back to Thomas. That's when his defense saw the genius in him.
