Forte is a solid back, but imo he's been looking less and less impressive on the ground and when the opponent stack the box to stop the run, it will end up as a non factor..
The Bears D have done well in producing TO's this year and are pretty solid, but their not a top 3 D and when your offense don't manage to stay on the field, even the best defenese in the league will finaly break...
Also, Palmer is underrated as he got a big arm and works the playaction well with a solid run offense that every D have to respect.. (Think the best thing that could happend to OAK was that JC got injuried..)
