Not only that but we got a 3rd round pick from the Jets that we used to move up and draft Clay Matthews in the first round. If he turns out to be a stud linebacker that is going to be a tremendous move. We've got a better quarterback than Favre now. He's young, he's got a year of experience and he's got a very bright future if he keeps working at it.

If Favre goes to Minni lets see who wins more games Farve or Rodgers in Green Bay? I don't care who is younger its who gives me the best chance at winning a superbowl and to me its a no brainer for Minni to sign Favre if he wants to play. Favre made the mistake of going back on his words when he retired in Green Bay no doubt but for the GM and Coach to tell him he has to compete for the starting job like Favre would have lost to Rodgers in training camp. Favre would have won the starting job in Green Bay and Thompson couldn't let that happen because he picked Rodgers and made him his future QB. It wasn't just Favres fault Thompson has an ego to! |
