#1 Posted: 3/15/2012 9:11:08 AM kansas state defeats mizzou 78-68 while spreading the floor and creating open look shots. only taking 9- 3 point shots while hitting 6 of them. @mizzou home court
kansas state defeats baylor 57-56 playing big ball with 7 blocks on big baylor creating 18 turnovers and stealing the ball 10 times and only went to the line 6 times for free throws @ baylors home court
Mizzou is a #2 seed
baylor is a #3 seed
Kansas state can play at a track meet and they can play a no holds barge defensive game
they have hung with some of the strongest teams in this tourney and have played in a tough division. they have underachieved this year and i think they show up today.
South miss narrowly defeated new mexico state twice, missispi, and south florida once, in november and december and they split with memphis and then lost to marshall in the conference tourney.
lets do this, lets put southern miss against baylor and mizzou and in that division and see how they do.
Then let us put k state in south miss division and see how they do.
k state you can say resembles marshall and memphis on steroids.
Give me kansas state -5
Good luck with whoever you pick......i love the matchup for k state here.

#3 Posted: 3/15/2012 9:22:51 AM line movement right now, im throwing that out the window...this is the ncaa tourney and no team can be brought right now. you have rich overloaded big money coming in on the under dogs today becuase when you have millions , you can take a shot
I have one other thing to add to the comparison , K states size will create a problem with no one to stop samuels inside and they will not stop mcgruder.. South miss plays small and sometimes has 5 guards on the floor.

#5 Posted: 3/15/2012 9:47:18 AM Southern Miss on an awful ATS run. This line now seems too good. Something doesn't smell right.
Linesmakers don't give out free money.

#6 Posted: 3/15/2012 9:54:30 AM NCAA tourney creates low lines in the mid range seedings, if this were a regular season game the line would be 10.5 easy

#8 Posted: 3/15/2012 9:58:01 AM One of the other reasons this line came down is 8 vs 9 seed. In betting public's mind, 7 or 7 1/2 its in an 8-9 game is a value play. If the teams are so evenly matched, why not take the points? I agree that K St is the play here. They've played a much harder schedule, have had wins against quality teams, and like someone above said, can do it inside and outside. |
