Although this thread is in "Systems & Strategies", you will get no explanations on the system here.

You have no idea how to get a percentage from a Runs Scored Stat. And.......You have no idea how to get a percentage from a Runs Allowed Stat. I think this system is Killing it so far and I would love to understand the method, but the explanations for the system are unclear and contradictory throughout the thread. I have been following from post 1. I am not lazy.

Buddy.....If you've read the explanations throughout the thread, you would know that there were inconsistencies in the EXPLANATION of how the system works. The system is obviously quite effective but the explanation contradicts itself and the way to calculate "RS percentage%"" and "RA percentage%" is unclear.......For instance below is people trying to figure these out just a couple pages back and the question ends with GILMAR saying he would figure out the new numbers later. If you have such a grasp what are the plays for tommorow. I'm pretty sure you don't know.....you're just blindly tailing whatever Gilmar gives for picks.........Read the conversation below:

Tuesday Aug, 2, 2011 (Detroit Tigers vs. Texas Rangers)
Detroit Tigers:
Winning PCT: .528
Runs Scored: 484
Runs Allowed: 490
Pitcher (Max Scherzer)
Season ERA: 4.28
Career ERA: 3.83
Texas Rangers:
Winning PCT: .560
Runs Scored: 548
Runs Allowed: 458
Pitcher (Colby Lewis)
Season ERA: 4.00
Career ERA: 4.96
Total
Winning PCT: (.528 + .560) = 1.088
Runs Scored: (484 + 548) =1032
Runs Allowed: (490 + 458)= 948
Pitcher Season ERA: (4.28 + 4.00) = 8.28
Pitcher Career ERA: (3.83 + 4.96) = 8.79
Gilmar Do I have to divide the runs scored and runs allowed by games
played? is this a system play? how are you getting .700 and .800 for RS
and RA?

#210 Posted: 8/10/2011 10:35:54 PM not knocking it, it works and it's winning.
I don't get the winning % thing, like the other day there were games where both teams were losing teams.

#211 Posted: 8/11/2011 10:19:19 AM Since the RA and RS are not actual "Percentages", just totals, how are you determining when, and how much, to increase the RA and RS?
Are they being increased within a certain time period, or some other factor?
Thanks -Michael |

#212 Posted: 8/11/2011 10:21:42 AM Also, is there a correlation to the amounts you are adding and the actual over / under that is posted?
Or are you just taking the over no matter how high it is? |
