#28 Posted: 2/29/2012 10:52:13 AM Seriously wtf is so wrong with that offer..
It takes something to get something.. It's that simple
All I've heard all day yesterday is how the Canucks should have given Raymond to the Sabres and not Hodgson. How the Canucks have identified Raymond as their future over Hodgson and how that's a mistake. Mason Raymond is not a future, period for any team and the reason the Nucks wanted to give him away is since no one wants him.
Dubinsky has how many goals this year? Not even 10! You can't say last year this or that year this.. Otherwise another former Rangers player, Scott Gomez could have value. Gomez career is over. The guy looks completely washed up and I'd bet you money he won't be in the NHL next year.
Rick Nash is a star hockey player. Much like other star packages like a Lindros. You don't underpay for a superstar. You always overpay. That's the price to pay for a guaranteed star.
I agree, Kreider, looks like a future monster. But that's not definitive. Del Zotto as good as he has been, he's still not a star. There's 10 players in this NHL that can affect an NHL game on their own in my opinion. One of them is Nash. The guy is a game changer.
