Share your pain here. unlv has got to be the worst road team in college basketball. when you blow a 15 pt 2nd half lead and lose by 7 it the blame has to fall on the coach. they are also the most overrated team in college basketball and they should not even make it to the dance |

#78 Posted: 3/4/2012 1:21:35 PM how about the wash/ucla game yesterday?....had wash +5 they were down 4 with 3.5 seconds left with the ball.....all they had to do was get the ball in and time would run out with some desperation shot and i cover but they try some horseshit baseball pass that goes straight out of bounds with nobody touching it.....so ucla gets the ball with still 3.5 seconds left under wash basket and they are still up 4....they inbound it and washington decides to foul down 4 with 1 second left.....ucla makes both free throws and washington loses by 6 |

I KNOW, WTF! I just came on to vent about the same loss.. That was absolutely ridiculous...Well said... Not to mention, it looked like WASH. was going to win the game outright the whole 2nd half until up until about a minute to go! |

#80 Posted: 3/5/2012 5:13:34 PM maryland uva game was pretty bad yesterday...after thinking i had already lost in regulation, with virginia -3.5, the game miraculously goes to OT and with virginia up 6, maryland hits a meaningless 3 pointer at the buzzer.. couple that with having LIU -3. (bet it too damn early cause the spread eventually went to -1). Quinnipiac hits a 3 at the buzzer to lose by 3 so i push and to top it all i had a 5 team parlay of kentucky, michigan, FSU, wisky, and knicks ML and pierce hits that damn 3 prayer 3 point shot to send into OT where the knicks eventually lose. and t

#94 Posted: 3/15/2012 7:56:59 AM Good idea for a title I bet if you flopped and asked for the best last second wins everyone would come up with the same games reversed in perception as being the best comback wins ever....as they say in the eye of the beholder.. |

#95 Posted: 3/15/2012 12:48:57 PM I had the second half under last night at 61.5 and the game under at 114.5 and USF had the ball up 16(16!) with 29 sec left and time to just take it over half court and kill the clock, making both winners. Cal in a wonderful decision, thinks they can still close this 16 point deficit in 29 seconds and fouls prolonging their certain death. a couple of more fouls and 2 turnovers later, both sure winners were losers. Sickening.

#97 Posted: 3/17/2012 1:37:55 AM I have under in the Louisiana Tech New Mexico game last Saturday night, last game of the night. This is a bailout play for me, and if I hit, I'm even on the week, and if I don't I'm down 3k. I can allow 19 points in the final 3 minutes. New Mexico is up by about 25 points at this point. Their starters come out one by one, and then something happened that I've never seen before in a blowout game. Typically, the team that is way up runs clock, some 3rd stringer clanks a shot with 3 to go on the shot clock, etc. Not in this game. It became a track meet, and the refs had no intention on going home. They called every foul down the stretch and in the final minute of game that was way out of reach.
23 points scored in the last 3 minutes. Now in a game that is close, I can see it. Every three pointer by the team trailing, is a possible 5 point play with fouls etc. But in this game, there were no intentional fouls. It was a made bucket, team a races down the floor and gets fouled, then team b up by 25 races down the floor and gets fouled. It was sickening. If New Mex ONCE would have walked up the floor and burned off 30 seconds, I would have hit my under, but I guess the scrubs that were out there were trying to milk their 2 minutes of court time etc.
How many times have you had an over in a blowout game and needed only ten points in the last 3 minutes and have watched the team ahead kill clock, and take dumb shots as the shot clock expires? It's happened to me plenty of times. 19 points should have been more than enough cushion. Still pissed off about this one.
Enclosed is the play by play, and note how quickly each possession is. I think there are 15 shots taken in the final 3 minutes, which is a pace set for a team down 5, not 25.
