I had a pretty nice team last year but did not win it all...  now I have to pick 3 keepers from a list of players that makes me wish I could keep them all...

but here is the list

Matt Ryan
ADP
Arian Foster
Fred Jackson
Desean Jackson
Miles Austin
Dwayne Bowe
Mike Williams (TB)
Antonio Gates

I am leaning towards peterson and foster as automatic... but i am not sure after that.... any ideas or suggestions?

First question is how do you not win at all with AP and Foster?  Secondly they are musts as far as keepers are concerned.  I think that Miles Austin has the most appeal/upside w Roy Williams out of the picture in Dallas.  Gates coming in at a close second as he out scores most #2 WRs.

Seriously that team looks like it should've won it all.

I agree though, ADP and Foster for sure and either Austin or Gates for the 3rd.

I was first all year and lost in the playoffs...

Miles Austin was what I was leaning towards, but I also like Gates and picking him up allows me to not have to focus on TEs and perhaps pick up a back up on wavier wire or handcuff to an injury

I am considering Ryan, because I am not sure what the QB landscape will look like...

How far in advanced are keepers usually selected?

Good question. I lost in the finals with those two guys as well. Just one bad game all season.

Gotta keep those fools again. Hope they don't darn things up this time. How can you keep AP though? You can keep first rounders?

Understood on losing in the playoffs.  Im a diehard fantasy player.  My reasearch starts a couple of months out, but after 8 years of playing FF, 4 championships, and several heartbreaking losses I have finally come to grips with the fact that its all luck in the playoffs.  I've seen 8 seeds knock off 1 seeds time after time again.

No   Bradford and Stafford both will probably be available as well as Kolb who fantasy wise, will all be as good.

I would keep Austin
