#29 Posted: 6/11/2012 7:29:59 PM I think the celts have to bring kg back the guy was dominant on both sides of the ball for celts. I would get rid of ray and try to sign hibbert. Kg Hibbert pierce bradley rondo. with bass comin off bench and add few role players this team can make it back |

You're just an ignorant homer Celtics fan who thinks with their heart and not their head.
If this was the year 2006, Celts would be the favorite to win it all with that team. Too bad it will be 2013 and father time is undefeated. Celtics are OLD, very OLD. To even get to a championship they will have to play 100+ games and almost certainly face Lebron/Wade and then Rose. Celtics are moving on, the window on this group of players slammed shut.
The sooner you accept this, the easier it will be.
At least i dont believe and absorb what the media throws at you. 2010 when they made the finals and took it to game 7, a lot of people that year kept going on and on about there old age.
And yes, they took the heat to game 7 while okc couldnt even make it to 6.

#35 Posted: 6/30/2012 8:28:27 PM That would be sick if they traded Bass for Scola. The rockets are trying to trade him and I think it would be a perfect fit. I think Allen will re-sign with the Celts as well....if not then he would go to the suns, who the hell wants to go to Phoenix?

#36 Posted: 6/30/2012 8:46:21 PM I can see Boston making a run at Hibbert and Scola. Allen is as good as gone. Hopefully Avery Bradley can return to form. They are a defensive oriented team and with those possible additions. They have enough for one more run. |

#37 Posted: 6/30/2012 10:21:04 PM Celtics will be a contendor next year really like the Melo and Sullinger picks in the draft and these rookies will gain plenty of knowledge from KG.
The Celtics needs a scoring guard now. Bradley and Rondo are great in their own right with Rondo being an assists machine and Bradley a defensive specialist.
I bet the Celtics regret trading Marshan Brooks for JaJuan Johnson. Brooks is a scorer first and could have been a good bench player.
Celtics will be tougher next year and with Rose out next season for the majority i believe the Heat's main challengers will be the Celtics. |

#38 Posted: 6/30/2012 10:32:21 PM Lou williams would be a nice addition to boston, actually if the celtics can somehow get Scola and Kevin Martin they will be set. Rockets are shopping both of them, Scola and Martin can both score. Or just keep Ray Allen and just get Scola and sign Lou Williams or Beasley. This is going to be an interesting offseason.

Its bullshit and don't believe what they say.
They can easily sign Allen and KG for a decent amount --1-2 year contracts.
Not only that.....they can also sign OTHER BETTER ROLE PLAYERS.
Scola Anyone?
FAIL

#42 Posted: 7/7/2012 3:17:01 AM Terry is better than allen off the bench, he moves better than him and creates his own shot. Celtics alrdy got used to playing Bradley as starter last year, so they should be even better now since they will be getting Jeff Green back.
If they signed allen, it would have also made it more difficult to sign Pietrus who really helped them with his defense in the playoffs last year (hit some key 3s in that miami series too) |
