Yesterday didn't go like I wanted it to, but I still won money. And I had a blast last night. I'll take it the plus units along with 4 Alka Seltzers and a little "hair of the dog" and move on to Sunday.
Hellickson sucks in Day games. Greinke should adapt just fine to Angel Stadium, and he has a much better lineup to back him up. I think there is a big pitching and hitting advantage for the in this one.
Of 55 ANGELS wins, 48 have come by more than one run.
Of the 15 Gio starts that the Nats have won, 12 have come by more than one run.

The Reds...vs. Jonathan Sanchez...in Colorado. People, this is the perfect storm for runs scored, unlike anything we've ever seen. Granted that I am going AGAINST a the trend below. But as McShady has kindly pointed out in si1ly's thread, the Reds have already beaten two proven trends TWICE, making them the strongest team for beating these trends.
NL home teams have avoided being swept by an NLC team on the road...70-4 (Series)
I think the Rockies become victim #5 today.
Reds -RL -110 3.3 / 3
Reds TT O6 -110 3.3 / 3
Roy Halladay isn't the same pitcher that has struck fear in the hearts and minds of hitters over the past several years. The last time he faced Atlanta Away on May 2, he gave up 12 hits and 8 runs in 5.1 IP. Tim Hudson has an ERA over 5 at home. No way should this total be this low. This one is the biggest no brainer on the sheet. It also has a nice trend to support a bigger play. Doubling up on it.
PHILLIES have had at least one game go OVER the posted total in a 3/4 game series...29-1 (Series)
Phillies / Braves O7.5 6.9 / 6
Feldman has been good in July with a 3.00 ERA. Floyd has been better with a 2.84 ERA. You telling me these guys can't keep it under 10.5? I think they can.
Pale Hose / Rangers U10.5 -105 3.15 / 3
Another trend play:
NL home teams have avoided being swept by a NLW teams on the road...60-3 (Series)
This is applicable to the Giants, and with Vogelsong on the mound (12 runs in 70IP = 1.41 Home ERA) I like my chances. The Giants hit lefties well, and Kershaw has been human Away (4.31 ERA). Vogelsong faced Kershaw at home 26 June and the Giants won 2-0. And even after dropping the first 2 games to the Dodgers, the Giants have the second best home record in the league (31-19). Let's gamble, putting a little extra on this one as well.
Giants Even 3 / 3
Giants -RL +200 1.5 / 3
Crazy ass parlay of the week, just because I haven't had one yet and I like these plays:
4 teamer- Phillies / Braves O7.5 -110 + Nats -150 + Reds TT O6 -110 + Angels -190 2.09 / 17.2873
BOL to all on the today!!
