Melo did make a lot of great basketball decisions and plays but wanted the ball in the 4th when it matters, like a great player should. When D'Antoni was drawing up plays Melo was listening but soon as the time out is over walks away with the face saying this stupid mother guy. I think if the knicks dont start winning soon D'Antoni will be gone and they will finally start playing defense like the old knicks used to play.
Maybe the knicks need to make a trade for a defensive player give tyson some help and change the mentality of this team. They have no heart and no hussle until this happens they will never improve or be a great team. Great teams get it done on both ends and give their best effort every night.
Jefferies didn't play today, he is a solid defensive player and was one of the keys during the linsanity winning streak. Knicks have a solid defensive unit out there when jefferies, shumpert and chandler are out there together... the trade off is that they can't generate points as easily with this unit....
..... and as to your main point: melo will never be happy, he will always pout unless he gets his way.... and when he gets his way, puts up his numbers, and the team loses, he will convieniently throw his teammates under the bus and blame them...... |
