At least Thome has had a great career and Mayberry has shown flashes of power in previous seasons. Galvis plays everyday while Utley is out and is just downright atrocious. Never thought I would say this but the Phills miss Wilson Valdez

It's a GAME. The game is being played on you. The Padres have the potential of being buried by everyone because they have no hitting. Therefore they are "allowed" to win a few games "to keep up" in the standings. Everyone needs to play "about .500 baseball" with a few who pull away late in the race. WAKE the darn up! They will go to the next series and knoeck the hide off the ball.

He can throw a strike whenever he wants and never ever can possibly walk threee in a row. The phillies actors deserve oscars they're striking out and making it look REALLY REAL.
