#1 Posted: 4/22/2012 7:26:56 PM Philly has 3 dead beats....Thome .125 Galvis .212 and the biggest buffoon...............MAYBERRY .175 Pitching cannot support a line up like this |

#2 Posted: 4/22/2012 7:31:10 PM Galvis is the worst imo. At least Thome has had a great career and Mayberry has shown flashes of power in previous seasons.
Galvis plays everyday while Utley is out and is just downright atrocious.
Never thought I would say this but the Phills miss Wilson Valdez |

#3 Posted: 4/22/2012 7:34:38 PM It was always due to happen when you spend all your money on pitching and no hitting, cant always win 1-0 |

They are playing games. If this were the NLCS say, no friggin way Halladay walks all those hitters.
It's a GAME. The game is being played on you.
The Padres have the potential of being buried by everyone because they have no hitting. Therefore they are "allowed" to win a few games "to keep up" in the standings. Everyone needs to play "about .500 baseball" with a few who pull away late in the race.
WAKE the darn up!
They will go to the next series and knoeck the hide off the ball. |

#7 Posted: 4/22/2012 8:12:02 PM This team appears to be getting old and injury prone, and is in need of fresh blood, all of the free agents signed in the offseason are little more than band aids. |

#9 Posted: 4/22/2012 8:23:34 PM You're right it's one big soap opera. Docs just an actor, actually they all are. He can throw a strike whenever he wants and never ever can possibly walk threee in a row. The phillies actors deserve oscars they're striking out and making it look REALLY REAL. Bud's going to send them a letter in the mail and they're going to start hitting tomorrow. |

#11 Posted: 4/22/2012 8:28:40 PM Now you see it, don't you? Watch them score more than 5 runs tomorrow. And noone will remember the Padres' series when they acted like they couldn't hit off a winless pitcher wearing army fatigues. |
