#1 Posted: 3/25/2012 9:35:21 PM Doesn't matter that they'll get Toews, and Keith back...they can get Malkin too if they want...no way they win with this kind of goaltending...should be 1-0 at best.. |

#2 Posted: 3/25/2012 9:47:12 PM They could play this years Stanley Cup Playoffs with this team 100x and I don't think they'd win the tournament once...just my opinion.....but then again I don't think anyone considers them Stanley Cup contenders anyway so I don't know why I'm blabbing! |

#4 Posted: 3/25/2012 10:05:20 PM Check out their Save percentages and GAA's....and this is with a ton of games vs. weak opponents on a regular season schedule....in the playoffs they get nothing but GOOD or GREAT teams.....the Blackhawks are going to need to average 4+ goals per game to get anything done in the playoffs |

#7 Posted: 3/25/2012 10:36:26 PM Thats why I like my Blues' chances this year because of this reason. If something unfortunate happens to Halak, we have an All Star (and in my opinion a better goalie) in Elliott to step in. |

you don't have the TEAM in front of your goalie you had two years ago, knabe, esp with Keith and Toews currently out the lineup
and "Auntie N" hasn't been any "game stealer" in San Hoser this season either |

1-Are keith and toews going to be out rest of the season? No
2-Have you even watched the hawks play as of late? Probably not besides tonight otherwise you wouldnt say that, they have been dominating.
3-You are contributing to my point by saying that niemi hasnt been a good goalie this season, he has never been... the blackhawks dont need their goalie to be their best player to succeed, they have already proven that.

The Blues are scary indeed. Goal tending aside, they are solid up and down.

#14 Posted: 3/26/2012 12:49:45 AM I was talking trash about their goaltenders in the midst of their hot streak. Goalies this bad don't win stanley cups...
Only teams Corey Crawford or Ray Emery would be starting for is Columbus, and maybe Tampa or Toronto...
Not exactly Playoff teams
There is one team going to the playoffs, that's actually got their best goalie on the bench....Any guesses on who that may be? |
