#30 Posted: 12/20/2010 9:38:15 AM all I can say is that in the NBA, when a team is 21-5 is a +6.5 underdog, 99% I will take the points... the other 1% I will not wager on it at all and 0% I will take the fav.
Tonight, I take the points. GL. |

#31 Posted: 12/20/2010 9:44:32 AM I am from Dallas and watch them just about every game they play. I also have watched Miami for obvious reasons. I will definitely be on the under. If I had to take a side it would be Dallas for one reason. Miami struggles against teams with a true big man. Chandler is playing really good for Dallas and I have seen too much of Miami's big man (Dampier). I think this will be a very good game and I could honestly see an 89-85 type of game. |

#38 Posted: 12/20/2010 11:25:26 PM Just an observations on this Heat Team is that they will continually struggle
against team that have " quality big men."
Take a look at this list of teams that have caused troubles, and my
expectation on teams that will cause trouble.
(BOS, DAL, ORL .... LAL?? , SA ??)
LAL should be an attractive bet on Christmas Day. Line should be around -3 is my guess..

#39 Posted: 12/21/2010 12:15:07 AM MIA essentially hasn't solved its main problem ever since their fluke championship in '06. They're a donut team, and are still a donut team with Christina Bosh and Z as centers.
Perhaps they were thinking offensive firepower in Wade + LeBron would make up for the lack of a dominant center, dunno. Fact is, tall teams like the Rockets (even w/o Yao) have been toying with them inside ever since.
Until they get someone who will dominate the paint, I'll keep fading MIA especially when they're faves over tall, playoff-bound teams.

Need a dominant rebounder, someone with a little attitude to fire up the Heat. The center combination won't work for Miami, unless they change to a more up temple style which Z can not run. either way, need a trade to upgrade this team from "Offense" to a balanced defense inside. Rebounder, shot blocker, etc. |

Exactly, Borat... A donut team with no legit Center .
