#1 Posted: 9/3/2010 2:41:29 PM Me and a buddy or two are looking to get out to Vegas in early November from NYC and were wondering what the best site is to find the best flight + hotel (on the strip) deals for the weekend....I know there are some really great deals from the last time I was there so if anyone could help me out that would be very helpful. |

#3 Posted: 9/3/2010 9:45:31 PM try the southwest vacations packages- usually right in line with pricing, and besides being the best airline going they will probably save you cash and get you out and back on a nonstop flight |

#6 Posted: 10/3/2010 11:57:06 PM I live in San Diego and drive. But for searching for hotels the highest recommendation goes to hotelscombined.com. I always book my hotels through here. It's the most compresensive metasearch travel engine on the Web, ie, it searches scores of OTHER travel sites. You then book your hotel through the site that hotelscombined found, and yes, you can bundle flights! November is slow in Vegas and you can find lots of reasonably priced hotels. I plan on going (driving) and staying at the MGM for a mere $148 a night the first weekend of November. |

nc1capper is right on. Southwest has some great flight/hotel deals going on right now. Check out this link for more info:
http://www.vegastripping.com/news/news.php?news_id=3567
You need to book by 10/14
Obviously, you will NOT as nc1capper thought, be able to get a non-stop flight from the NYC area to Vegas, but you'll be able to save some cash and stay at a first rate property, well worth a connection.

#9 Posted: 10/12/2010 8:27:55 PM rockford,,was referring to my journey from the raleigh/durham area for nonstop,,I'm less than 10 minutes from the airport and usually enjoy getting out on sunday mornings when traffic to the port is lite- leave the house at 630 or for a 8 flight- it is sweet indeed,,of course different locales will have different times and flights involved |

No doubt...
Southwest's deal is the way to go, was just being clear that a NON stop flight to LAS is not an option from the NYC area.
I'm heading out on THR... ( not on SWA - trip was book in April )
enjoyed your recent trip re-cap

#11 Posted: 10/12/2010 11:35:13 PM When booking online always seek out a site that offers cash back like fatwallet.com
I even use it on Ebay which only offers 1% back, but I use it on most of my travels, and I just used it on the nbastore to get 6% back.
Cheers
