we would get killed..i was all city back in my highschool days so im pretty good at basketball but some people on covers have probably never played organized basketball..Some members are probably 50.. some members are probably really lazy and fat sooooo a full court game going hard the whole way, im sure i would ahve to carry us a lot so i would be exhausted...
bottom line.. we would get SMOKED!!!

I'll take the Connecticut women and happily lay 20-25 points.

now that would be interesting... getting the top 12 Covers players against their team. We would have 2 months of practicing, we would hire a coach lol...
i still think they would be favored but it would be a much more interesting match.. Im sure there are some pretty good ball players here but their coaching/plays would kill us, plus they have been playing nonstop im sure while lot of us might just be playing once a week against weak competition...

I'm not sure about the UConn girls, but that "Brittany" Greiner from Baylor would literally force her erect penis into your fool.

#105 Posted: 12/27/2010 9:22:07 AM How about 5 covers members that could dunk? I'm guessing 40 point favorites each game. Womens basketball |

Basketball is about fundamentals, and these Uconn girls have them

#111 Posted: 12/28/2010 7:20:27 PM The biggest BS statement of all time is that women's basketball is more "fundamentally sound". Do you not see the number of missed layups, jump balls, and turnovers? Plus most of them can't create their own shot so please don't insult the intelligence of basketball fans spouting that canard. |

So you are saying John Wooden is an idiot.
"My grandfather would have been thrilled. He would have been absolutely
thrilled to see his streak broken by a women's basketball team," the
47-year-old Wooden said. "He thought, especially in the last 10 years,
that the best basketball was played at the collegiate level -- and it
wasn't by the men."

#114 Posted: 1/8/2011 4:23:32 PM At least 2 out of five Covers players wouldn't make it up and down the court. I'd say Conn. -70, seriously. |

#116 Posted: 1/9/2011 1:30:20 AM Moneyshot is right. Lots of competitive ex-athletes and I'm sure we could find a roster of 12 that would do pretty well. |
