#2 Posted: 3/12/2012 10:24:40 PM Saw the ticker tape on ESPN. it's a one year deal. Moss is 35 years old, Niners aren't taking long term risk on him. |

#6 Posted: 3/13/2012 7:41:15 AM Usually it's ex-Niners that go to the Raiders... Here it's an ex-Raider going to the Niners... Yep... it's 2012 all right.

I agree with CalifDreamin... I hope Moss does not stir up some of his diva crap on the Niners... They could always give him a ride to Oakland and drop his behind off in one of those fine neighborhoods there in the middle of the night with no money, cell phone or BART pass. Ha,ha,ha. |

Not a big deal, you saw Braylon Edwards lazy behind get cut this year, and they almost still went to the sper bowl. This isnt a big risk. |

He's going to a team with a strong and respected head coach. He needs them more than they need him. He knows they will cut his behind in a second if he screws around. Perfect situation for the 49er's to take a chance. He'll behave short term if he respects the situation he is in (see New England). |

#11 Posted: 3/14/2012 10:28:34 AM I do wonder if Alex Smith with get the "stare" if he can't get the ball to Moss down field. |

#14 Posted: 3/14/2012 3:24:33 PM Now if only they can add TO to the mix, then you'll see Alex Smith going and the old Vernon Davis getting back into diva form. |

#17 Posted: 3/17/2012 11:00:50 AM He's still got the legs. Playing for Harbaugh is a lot like playing for Bellycheck. He looks sideways, he's cut. For example
"Alex, I was open that last play"................cut
"Vernon, you gotta hold that block so Alex can get that ball to me".....................cut
"Frank, I threw a block for you, you need to cut this way when I throw it"......................cut
"Practice? We're talkin' 'bout practice"..................cut |
