I personally would like to see more of the human side of the president... I was watching ESPN this morning and the president was filling in his College Basketball bracket.
I did enjoy the seeing the human side of the president and hearing him say something that was not a political speech and not scripted.
I cannot imagine the pressure cooker the president lives in. President Obama is human and stress is a bitch... Stress can screw you up in a dozen different ways. Plus clarity of thought is paramount and stress does not promote clarity of thought.
Makes me nervous to only see him in a suit and speak only politics. The man has his finger on a button that could start a nuclear war that would send us back to the stone age and I am too damn old to have to hunt and gather my own food.
The president represents all Americans to the rest of the world and he must always make a good impression. I understand decorum, pomp and ceremony... But I still want to know/see he is human and taking time to wind down. Seeing a picture of him in a Chicago Bulls jersey sitting at his desk in the oval office would actually make me feel better about him. And I would bet money his approval rating would go up. People want a President who is human and they can relate to...
Just saying that knowing he is taking time to let his hair down would be nice...

Come on Randy, people around here won't like you talking nice about our President. About 90% of them hate the guy, for whatever reason. Who knows
90% of the people around here hate the president... You wouldn't exaggerate, would you???
And a point of clarification... I disagree with the majority of his policies and will not vote for him in the next election... But... That does not diminish my respect for the amount of pressure he is under and wanting to know that the president, who ever is president, is not suffering ill effects from the stress of the job. Especially when his decisions could send us into an war.

We saw plenty of pictures of Bush at the ranch and Obama golfing.
Their ratings are both poor as presidents because of their actions and inactions as presidents not their lack of looking like regular joes
The complexity of our government today coupled with wanting to be reelected president is (in my opinion) the greatest determent to anyone being an effective president. Smaller government (let states govern themselves on matters that pertain to themselves) and a single 6 or 8 year presidential term limit would be wonderful...

I disagree. The president should be 100% focused on his job 100% of the time.
After November when Barry is out of office, then he can do whatever he wants, attend bball games, take vacations to hawaii....
Okay Colt, I'll tell you what.. You work at your job, ( if you have one ) day and night for 8 years, no vacation, no trips, no week-ends off. No going home for Christmas,
Then tell me about how you liked it.
Mr. Obama will win the election for 4 more years. Take it to the bank.

I actually couldn't care less if Obama won again, but I still hold the same position that the POTUS should be 100% focused 100% of the time. The analogy that I should do that doesn't work, because I am not POTUS. If I was, I would hold myself to that standard.

I disagree. I think Obama would be fun to hang out with. I mean that. I like seeing his bracket every year.
Of course you know if you are hanging with Obama.. you will also be hanging out with his friends......Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, Larry Sinclar, Bernadette Dorn, Calypso Louie Farrakhan, Father Pfleger, Reggie Love[ bbf ]and Tony Rezko ( after he gets out of jail )....

Adam Cox...a man described as fascinated with President Obama and wanted to hang out with him ... pleaded guilty yesterday to threatening to kill Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio....
