#6 Posted: 1/17/2011 10:44:08 PM hey bro.. earlier in the season, verizon wireless had a commerical featuring the saints and the jets.. do you recall?? well, after watching that, i was like, that would be interesting to see them in the super bowl.. i wasn't feeling the saints to go back this year.. hence they won with the katrina ordeal.. now reading your thread.. it's interesting.. very interesting.. 2 former pac 10 qb throw down in the SB.. that would be interesting too... |

It would be completely tasteless to create a visual metaphor between the destruction of the twin towers and the winning of a football game. On top of that, you would be resurrecting the actual point of impact by placing 'Jets' on the shirt next to the towers Even though the planes would be on an alleged fly-by, few outside of the football world would recognize that.
Your shirt vision? It won't happen... |
