Stay at the Vdara...no casino in the hotel ..but just walk across the street to the Aria and they have a casino...great place!

 I am a heavy gambler and have logged in many hours and a garbage load of trips. I pick cosmo

Cosmopolitan: This place has the trendiest crowd. Young, hot, fresh, classy people. No scumbags, just douchebags here. This is by far the best hotel room you can get. The rooms are gorgeous and usually flawless. If you are trying to impress a lady, terrace view suites are the way to go. Waking up with pancakes fresh on the balcony watching over the strip is a awesome. 

Gaming wise there is a little to be desired. Probably the smallest gaming floor on the strip. However, I choose their high limit room over all else in Las Vegas. Its called the Talon Club and for a mere $300-500 minimum bet per hand you can feel like a real boss. 

Protip: Book Christmas here. I got the wraparound suites for $125 a night.

300 to 500 a hand, I understand your a big player but truth be told, I come to vegas with around a 15k bankroll and zero of it goes towards table games.

Im a former casino dealer who counts cards as well and I still wont play tables.

the only real beatable games are sports and poker if you are a skilled player,

everything else you are depending on pure luck with very little skill.

Not preaching here but you say a mere 300 to 500

thats not a mere anything my friend, thats a whole lotta money to risk on a 30 second outcome.

I should have added (sarcasm) after that. To be honest, I have not won at tables since maybe a dozen trips ago. And I don't think anyone should go to the Talon Club unless your bankroll is 10k or above. However, I feel like I almost do it to get the good service and hotel rooms. I had a trip that really scared me in March. Pretty much fell into a 35k hole and couldn't get out. However, re evaluated myself as a player and went back the following month with 2k. Calm and controlled, Won 5k and said.. never again.. 

Now I satisfy my itch with sports bets. I don't know if it is any better but I feel like I will never get stuck in that hole ever again.
