Why do you have a hard on for George??

Obama had cheap gas. He had the House. He had the Senate. He got everything he wanted. He had a fawning media.

The fact is: he wants high priced energy. There are plenty of quotes from him to that effect. He got what he wanted. He's a huge success. $5 gas.

To go back now and say prices may have been higher at some point under Bush just shows you're fucked in the head. The economy was never this bad under Bush........................

Buck Farack.

While I agree that the economy is an important aspect of judging a presidency, in fact it is probably the most important, it isn't the ONLY aspect. Otherwise you could say Hitler was one of the greatest leaders of all time(I can hear Scal coming into this thread now).

I'm not saying Obama is a good President. But to say he is the worse is incorrect. The guy before him was way worse. I think we would be in the same shape if not worse had Bush been able to serve a third term. Hell we would be in the same shape had McCain won the election.

Wanna know a way to help the deficit speed up? Invade a country for no real purpose what so ever AND cut taxes for the country's wealthy.

And how bad was that Iraq game plan? America invaded an oil rich nation and our gas prices STILL continually climbed up.

I'm actually with Hutch, I don't think it matters who is in the White House, whether it's a Dem or a Repub. We're all pretty much fucked.

But to put this ONLY on Obama and to call him the WORST President in history just seems false to me....unless he manages to invade another country for no real purpose what so ever in the next year.

Because the liberal press loves Obama and just to hear him speak sends shivers downt their spine.  They have invested the little credibility they have left in his success.  Therfore, they cannot report anything negative and spin everything positive they can.  Although IMO the man is incompetent and is not qualified for the job.  Just a cute slogan, likable personality, good salesman and good public speaker.

Numbers and the price of things don't really tell the whole story. How bout the Dow Jones (or do you think the president have nothing to do with that) because when Bush took over as president it was just over 10,000. When his presidency was over it was 8281 not to mention the major tax cuts he made are still effective until Dec 2012. Now I agree it seems as tho Obama hasn't really done anything. But whatever I'm with Hutch and Ktrain. Until both sides can get along this mess will not be cleaned up and we well continue to get fucked no matter if its Dem or Rep in office.
