Okay, so there's a good chance the NHL could resume play by the deadline which would string together a 48-game season. Big fucking deal!!! Like what in heck took these two money-raking filthy rich sides so long to arrive at this stage anyway?
Whatever the case, now it's time for all NHL supporters across the board to have their say and voice their displeasure over what was taken from them for the past three plus months. 'Stand up' is the message I'm sending to all NHL fans and I say it's time to boycott all games across the board for the first seven days of the upcoming depleted schedule. Whether this involves having the Flyers play to an empty house for three games while the Kings skate before an empty arena for two home games, whatever the opening seven-day schedule depicts, I encourage all NHL fans to sit the first seven days of their respective NHL team's games out.
Lets ban together as one and show both the owners and the players alike that we were the ones who lost out on this lockout and yet we were denied a say in the matter. But now we can and now we are voicing our opinion as one. To players and owners alike, let us the fans refresh their memory by letting them know that it's us who pay the salaries, though it usually goes unnoticed. Not this time however.
To All NHL Fans: Lets stand up and be counted for once. Two lockouts in less that a decade is too much and we're fed up. Enough is enough!
