#1 Posted: 10/9/2012 1:30:30 PM I wanted to start with that line since we are in the coliseum today.anyways, i hope it's not the As who prematurely have to leave this series. history says they have a good chance of losing since each time in the last ten years or so i think they have went down 2-0 they ended up getting swept. Since this has been an unpreditable year so far, i would like to continue with that theme and say that the As and Anderson will come back this game and end the strikeouts and put some runs on the board. After looking at Sanchez we don't have a lot to go on since he's faced the As one time and he got hammered in that game by the way. These playoff matchups have sometimes played out like you would think like yesterday(zimmerman getting smoked) and sometimes not(Arroyo pitching a gem) after the history he had against San Fran. Anderson is 2-2 over his career i think vs. Detroit but really hasnt had much exposure vs. them besides a shortened outing this year in detroit after he got hurt but he did give up 3 earned. So far i think detroit has benefited from some breaks but they have put the bat on the ball. Today it's oakland's spot to bounce back. Detroit hasnt been much of a Road team this year at any point of the season. 38-43 away record makes me feel fine with this pick. Oakland Run Line +140. Gl everyone. |
