if you're bookie is from the LA area than it makes sense why he's given you that line. ppl living in LA tend to pound lakers.

i would put some money on the nuggs at +7

I wouldn't hedge yet.  Way too early.  Wait til Game 5 if you hedge at all.

its kind of hedging cuz of lakers lose SU, i cover my series bet partially, but if lakers win and go up 2-0 they are way way likely to win series. and if lakers win by 1-6 i am in a position to win series bet and denver +7 bet

Do you have 3000 or 6000 bet? please get your story straight becauce within 2 posts you have said 2 totally different things. Either way it sounds like you are using monopoly money so pound Denver +7 obviously.

Why would you make such a large bet if you don't expect the Lakers to win?  Why would you be asking about hedging if you expect the Lakers to win?

Explain to me how they are likely to win the series?  They are still at home.  In the playoffs, once you lose a home game/win a road game is when it really starts counting.

your local had that line of lakers -200 for the series?

'cause vegas and offshore had no less than -240

your line is insane, dude

i think he's lying, actually.  i watch lines all over the internet like a hawk.  vegas and offshore had maybe 3 books between them at Lakers -240

no one had less than that

teams that go up 2-0 in a nba series are like 88% winners or something, for the series, historically
