#1 Posted: 3/10/2012 4:36:54 PM Without going into too much detail, I like this play. As the conference tourneys go on, the garbage schools fade away and finding the easy easter eggs the books leave behind becomes more and more difficult. They will be gone before long.
This is the only 7:00 pm EST start of the night and comes after a huge early afternoon of high-profile games. The books didn't give a garbage about this garbage fest, even though San Diego St. is ranked.
People will be chasing on the late games, not this one.......
In short, both of these teams can score. Both of these teams can play defense when they want to. The Aztecs can clamp down especially and slow the game down when they feel they are in control.
Unfortunately for them tonight, the Aggies will be wild and running most of the night and won't make their opposition feel very comfortable. Add into the fact that these teams have been playing a lot of games in such short of time, will make for a lack of motivation to play high-pressure defense.
In a game with guys playing an extra 6 inches off the ball, a game with fatigued legs, a game that should be competitive, a game in which both of these schools like to have fun and should play to the very end......the Over is the call.
New Mexico/San Diego State - Over 132

It is a shitfest.
Did expect the AZTECS (happy sdpadres?) to run all over San Diego State, as they have for the entire first half, but didn't expect San Diego to basically pack it in this badly.
Second Half Line is backed in at 70....pushing a new game total of 127. Books will be happy with this line as it is fair and disallows a middle for Over backers.
Gameline covers if San Diego State decides to play.....or if they feel their #21 ranking (hahahaha....ahem) is just for show, they will continue to get stomped in the 2nd Half and the Over will not reach.
Good luck on whatever you do.

Total and side is priced right. Stay off.
Aztecs can't hit the 3-ball and are shooting less than 39% while the Lobos are slowing the game down in order to make every missed possession hurt.
Again, gametotal relied on San Diego State showing up, but that's why this is a shitfest.....even though SD St. is ranked.

Big Ten ball is horrendous and boring to watch. Great for coaching videos, bad for fans.
Wow. Didn't expect that did you there fella? Guess you don't know me after all.....especially since I've posted non-stop DAILY on how I don't follow any of the BIG conferences or big teams. I can't stand the Big East either.
So, thanks for coming.

Yes you did. I should have stated BEFORE THE GAME STARTED, no replies, no comments, 63 page views and on Page Four.
Start winning all over the places in multiple events, multiple sports, and fool come in here jumping on you for a SINGLE TYPO and trying to defend Mountain West....yes folks, Mountain West basketball as being some hotshot bigtime conference.
As we all know, Dickie Vitale is ALL OVER New Mexico basketball....
Sorry, that was unfair to the Lobos.
We all know March is about Air Force Academy Basketball and how the Cowboys are going to bust brackets.

#18 Posted: 3/10/2012 8:21:29 PM Lobos just standing at the halfway line with a double-digit lead draining 25 seconds off the clock before moving.
Aztecs just standing there 10 feet away not pressuring or doing anything.
Aztecs take a 3, miss severely, ball comes down and smacks two guys in the face who didn't bother to put their hands up.
Must be the consecutive games in-a-row. These guys are dog tired. Over will not hit.
Sorry guy. Can't win them all. The fatigue factor was too strong, even though this line was about 8-14 points lower than what it should have been during the regular season.
Off to rugby winners for the rest of the night.
Cheers!

#19 Posted: 3/10/2012 8:28:30 PM Lobos guy drains 20 seconds off the clock, then charges the basket.....gets his own feet crossed up, trips, ball goes flying and he goes head-first into the padded basket stalk.
These guys need a nap.

#20 Posted: 3/10/2012 8:44:26 PM I've heard it said that CBB totals are one of the statistically easiest places to win. It looks like you spend some time in totals. Would you agree with this?

#22 Posted: 3/10/2012 9:06:57 PM Aztecs 23-for-70 shooting.
A little more rest and this would have flown over.
Get 'em next time.
