1) Miller over Palhares- $100 wins $225- Miller will use his height advantage to keep Toquino at bay. If it hits the ground, the black belt Miller will be able to hang, unlike Palhares' other opponents.
2) Fisher over Tavares- $100 wins $190- LOVE TAVARES. Had a superfight grappling match with him back in 2003 in Miami. Been a big fan of his since. But, hes shown a weak chin lately. Gotta side with Fisher in a match that should be near even.
3) Nedkov over Cane- $200 wins $340- Guys, look at Nedkov closely! Hes a machine. Great Wrestler, Black Belt BJJ, and a Nasty overhand right. He beats Cane handily.
4) Big Nog/Schaub u 2.5- $260 wins $200. Both guys have KO power, and weaker chins. If it hits the ground, look for Nog to lock up an anaconda choke and finish Brenden.
5) Silva to win within distance- $280 wins $200- He will dominate to erase the bullshit dq loss to Okami. Silva via TKO round 3 or 4.
Good Luck All! |

#2 Posted: 8/23/2011 2:44:08 AM Disagree on Tavares. I think he wins this fight easily. Spencer doesn't have the kind of ko power like the shot Roller hit Tavares with. Good luck, I like the line you got on Silva ITD |

#3 Posted: 8/23/2011 4:03:55 AM I just can't see that many homers losing. While I don't think they'll do a complete sweep, there are dogs that'll def cash.

#6 Posted: 8/23/2011 6:35:18 PM I agree, some very live 'dogs on this card. I don't really disagree with any of your plays, I do think Silva wants to put on a show for the home crowd, and his speed/quickness advantage will be unbelievable. I wouldn't be surprised to see this one end like the Silva/Forrest fight, but maybe not that bad.
I don't know much about Nedkov at all, but I may coattail ya on that one. Good luck dude!! |

#7 Posted: 8/23/2011 6:53:39 PM I think you have a nice card their except for Fisher over Tavares. Fish is in over his head in this one. Like Schaub via TKO early (followed by NOGS retirement speech), Love Miller in the upset, very good fighter & good eye on Nedkov - been looking forward to seeing him step up in competition finally. |

Gotta disagree with you here. Miller may have a slight advantage in the standup, but if Paul Harris can get this to the ground, I dont think its a foregone conclusion that Miller's "black belt" skills will be able to keep him out of trouble. I'm pretty sure that Dave Branch is a high level Renzo Gracie BB and he still got kneebarred. Linhares is a 2nd Degree BB (not sure his lineage) and he got heelhooked. |

#9 Posted: 8/24/2011 10:40:59 AM I haven't done my rsearch yet... But...
I will likely bet Forest and Miller as dogs
I don't see Fisher winning another fight in the UFC... He get cut after this one
I like Schaub to take Big Nog too

Griffin +190 and Okami +450 Big Nog has a shot but like the 2 dogs just need to hit 1 to make it a night |

#11 Posted: 8/25/2011 6:54:50 AM probably -ev to bet vs anderson..ever. I think Nogs has a shot, shuabs cardio is garbage, he barley beat old man cro cop. If shoguns knees are garbage then he'll get sandwhiched for 15 like franklin did. I personally dont like too many plays on this card, just my 2 cents.GL all and make some $$ |

#16 Posted: 8/27/2011 9:26:32 PM Schaub over big Nog is an absolute gift. If the weren't fighting in Nog's back yard this line would be -400 or bigger! |

#20 Posted: 9/2/2011 12:16:51 PM Solid picks man. I was on the favs for the most part, but came through w/ Silva, Palhares, and Tavares.
I was blinded by Schaub and Cane. Should've known better there.
