#5 Posted: 4/18/2012 12:33:48 AM well okc is a 3-point shooting run-and-gun team with westbrook. parker can play the slow-down style. duncan can guard bynum, of all people
so they can slow it down...
they're killing everyone, like i said. they've been killing the ats all season, about 2-1 total
why they don't get respect who knows

#6 Posted: 4/18/2012 12:35:00 AM another team to look at are the pacers. lack of respect but that team is solid, and they are not a run-and-gun team

Agree with you... 100%!
I will put the final Spurs vs Thunder or Spurs vs Pacers.

#9 Posted: 4/18/2012 12:45:27 AM Also another thing, I think Spurs are the only team that is unpredictable for Las Vegas... I dont think they will adjust line so we can predict almost all the time
- Spurs Win/Covers - Spurs Over.
Parlay:
- Spurs - Spurs over.
Lol this season the only team that really helped to win money is Spurs and Bobcats (against them)

You do realize that both teams are in the West, right? |

By statting the question this way you really have NO IDEA the way the Spurs play or what you're talking about---What a joke comparing them to the old Suns/Mavs.
The Spurs can win in the 70's the 90's or the 120's....take your pick

#14 Posted: 4/18/2012 2:20:53 AM I like the recent additions of S. Jackson, B.Diaw and D. Green. This 2012 roster holds a bunch of jump shooters which works against most defensive teams. If they guys shoot at a high percentage, im sure they can make a good run going into playoffs. |

#15 Posted: 4/18/2012 2:40:35 AM This spurs team can play some defence, but don't get them confused with past Spurs teams. They are much more offensive with a faster tempo and don't play defence nearly as well.
However this a down year/years in the NBA, the dominant terams arn't very dominant, OKC is 5-5 barely beat T-wolves, Lakers are full of guys that get significant minutes named worldpeace, roberts and some other black guy I can't remember his name. Celtics are over the hill and Miami has two guys that drive the lane and nobody that can shoot 3pointers, also Bulls MVP is struggling and they are having problems on offense.
So I would say Spurs are a huge contender for the title especially with HOME COURT throughout the western conference, 3 point shots go down a lot easier @ home. |
