Cubs cant hit the ball, I dont care if Cy Young is pitching for the Cubs tomorrow.  I do not see the Cubs winning tomorrow especially after trading D Lee the Cubs captain to the Braves.  This team doesnt show any emotion, the manager wants to retire and Jim Hendry said this team is sad and miserable, why would they want to win when they are looking for the season to be over with.  Latos has been pretty lights out lately and Ludwick and Gonzalez hit Zambrano pretty good.

Texas just got swept by the Rays, however the Rangers bats have been there just not pitching well and they are playing Orioles.  I dont see them losing 4 in a row and ill take my chances here.

Matusz has given up 15 ER in 12 1/3 innings against Texas (10.95 ERA ). Small sample size, I know. Still, Matusz is a flyball pitcher and he doesn't seem to match up well with several of the Texas hitters.

Also, Orioles have scored 3, 9, 2, 1, 2, 5, 1, 4, 1, 2, 0, 6 runs in Matusz's home starts this year. 36 runs in 12 games. A couple of games ago a graphic showed Matusz ranking among Oriole starters with worst run support at home in team history. Don't know where that stands now though after they "exploded" for 12 runs for him over the last two home games.

Finally, don't know how hot it will be tomorrow night, but some who follow the Orioles question what kind of shape Matusz is in because doesn't seem to handle the heat and humidity well (I know, who does?) in Baltimore. He's had a few games recently where he hits a wall and just can't get out of an inning.

Just providing you with some more information.

One other thing. There have been several quotes and/or references about Texas players looking forward to this series as payback for when the Orioles swept a 4-game series in Texas right before the All-Star break. For what it's worth.

I really like this parlay a lot. It jumped out at me after the rangers got swept and the cubs not caring i dont see why these two teams can win today.  maybe padres might lose because its get a way day but thats doubtful they are in a race and need to keep winning.

Thoughts?

Most aspects of life are based on polarities.  One can take a seemingly bad situation and polarize the opposing force and make it good.  The departure of Lee as well as the bad sentiments expressed about the Cubs in the press and public consciousness will reach its culmination today with Carlos Zambrano being a catalyst for redemption.

Zambrano will probably start a fight in the Cubs dugout and get traded tomorrow knowing the Cubs are getting rid of everyone.  Ludwick, Gonzalez and Tejada will hit Zambrano and if Latos pitches the way he has been, Cubs havent been scoring.  Padres will win.

I lordzud (for now unemployed because my gaze of command is often mistaken for insanity) but soon to be ruler of the universe to focus the forces of evil in a bozo nightmare and make that goof Zambrano lose his tiny mind once again and beat the batboy senseless.
