#29 Posted: 5/10/2012 5:46:34 PM Lewis is an idiot, they figured out he was throwing those fastballs early in the count over the plate |

#36 Posted: 5/10/2012 5:52:03 PM lol, i was wondering when the darn they would figure this idiot out. I used to play baseball and I know how pitchers get over confident and start challenging hitters. Lewis got very lucky on the DP that would have been a single, smart shift by washington |

O's gameplan looked to be to take the first couple pitches and then look for a pitch. Probably wanted to try to get him out of hte game to get ot the bullpen so they woudl have hte advantage in the 2nd game.
Problem was that Lewis kept showing strikes early in the count and that forced the O's hitters to have to swing at pitchers pitches instead of looking for their pitch.
This past inning it seemed they abandoned that gameplan and started attacking the first good pitch they saw.

Yeah, seems like these O's players just want to work on their HR stats today. Man, now I want to bet BALT GM2..... Will consider this...
