So did I (got one right), and I didn't run a pic for my profile of a hooker on the local Las Vegas Craigslist (adult section) for about 2 years either.
Anyone that said the bears was a L#$k or a sure winner was just plain lucky, just like me.

wow I guess im luckier than a garbage house ray then cause I posted 4 straight winners tonight including 2 baseball dogs.. its ot luck you fade the public on a bad line move you win!!  you didnt wonder y there was 77% of the action on gb and the line never moved and GB was even money...  how bout why 92% was on the yankes and the went from -150 to -130 hmm that makes sense oh jold on tampa bay goes from -210 to -170 with 83% of public its like stealing if you just pay attention!!

Tenn+3/GMen = 50/50 pretty much..Tenn Wins in a landslide.

ATL +3/NO = 70% of public on NO...ATL wins striaght up

STL+4/Skins = 84% of public on Skins...STL wins in a rout.

Seahawks+3.5/Chargers = 75% of public on Chargers..SEA wins!

NYJ+1/FINS = Approx 60% of Public  on FINS....Jets win....

You see....what seems to be a "no brainer" usually isnt....and the above is just the NFL in Week 3.....

WIth the public  going to the "Favored" team....line was either holding, or moving in the opposite direction....Just like tonight....

If I am wrong....so be it....but.....there are far too many "underdogs" covering/winning outright.....Sure....common scense is usually a good bar to look at a game at first glance...but wait until gametime....and take a look where the public is putting their money.....if the lines are not moving or actually reversing....then you need to take another look as to why that is happening.....

Just my thoughts.....whether you agree or dont......It works for me....

Just ask any SMU backers this past Friday.....TCU was going to "murder" SMU....Guess who covered?  SMU.    One more...BAMA/ARKANSAS.....BAMA (common scense would tell you) that they should easily cover......WRONG.....Razorbacks covered...and almost won....

Oh yeah....in both cases above.....Line was not moving, or moving the wrong way.....with the MAJORITY of the public was on the favorites.....

couldnt have said it better myself!!

Congrats CHI and Und backers. Remember kids if it dont smell right it stinks. Go against the public and youll win most of the time. Definitely in pros where emotions run less thanin college!

You guys amaze me as much as some of my plays may make you laugh.
All this Vegas this Vegas that.
You know what....... Vegas takes a line on a number for a game.
They let all of us argue about what it means and let us all move it if the money goes one way or the other.
If they feel they are are on the right side of the number they won't move it, and let potential profits pile up.
If they are wrong, they have a bankroll that can sustain them for much longer than the average douche on here, and will eventually get it back.
There is no grand scheme, too many people over think this stuff (me included)
If Indy was -13 yesterday why didn't they offer it?
They could have cut their losses on that one for sure, but missed that easy score on joe public

Here you go
Yesterday Washinton was -4.5 over the Rams
The final score was Wash 16 Rams 30
Why didn't "the powers that be" in Vegas make the number, Rams -13.5?
That way they would have got ALL the money on the Skins instead of most of it?

Wow, why so bitter? I never said I was the best or a "genius". I could give a crap if people followed me or not. I just post my plays for the hell of it, not for the attention. You never see me gloating or posting in large bold fonts after every win. And as for the avatar, you're seriously hating because she's a "hooker"?!?! HAHAHA!!!! Who gives a f**k!?!? It's a picture!!!! Would you rather look a dude with a uniform on???? I take that as a yes by your reaction of me having it on for the past 2 years. And I never even knew you existed until tonight but you've noticed me for the past 2 yrs!?!?!?  I must be doing something right.

This site never ceases to amuse me........

Good luck to you next week.

First of all they dnt want all  the money.. if they made it obvious know one would bet.  Know won is saying the games are fixed but these guy do this for a living anyone who says vegas wants a 50/50 split is a fool they have professionals figure out where the score should end up or who should win then place the line so the public will bet the way they want.  and like pigs to slaughter the public follows.  Nothing is 100% but you bet with the house and you will win more than you loose every time!  we watch for no movement or reverse movement.  like the example i gave earlier and pick i put out on this board earlier everyone had the yankees last night 85+% the money opened at -150 and went down to -130 why do you think they made it easier for people to bet the yanks?  it should have gone to -180+ with all the action but didnt.  same with the gb game it stayed at 3 if they wanted you to bet on the bears they would have raised it to 3.5 they didnt.. they loved the GB money..  last but not least easiest game of the night TB rays open at -210 and droped to -170 with 93% of the bets on TB and baltimore wins 4-0.. if people were taking them earliy at -220 why make it easier to bet on them and drop to -170 hmm..  use common sense and open your mind to the matrix lol!!

Thank you, BankJob.  This is espicially true for games that everyone is watching because it's the only one on - Sunday night, Monday night, weekday college games.  It's not that there's a fix - the guys setting the lines just know more about the games than we do.  Any angle you can think of, they've already considered.  So when you see a Monday night line too good to be true (Saints -5 or GB -3), it is.  They books do not believe in Christmas.  They are trying to get you on a side that they're pretty confident won't cover.

But every week, you see the same guys on these boards saying the obvious pick is a lock, or a gift from Vegas.  They just never learn.

No, this doesn't work 100% of the time (damn you Pitt Panthers), but you can hit 4 out 5 by just watching the public and the line movement.
