#2 Posted: 11/30/2012 12:43:52 AM SU winners: 6
OT record: 1-0
Record on the open: 8-3
Notes:
-Extremely disappointed with my November so far. Yes, I should be pleased to be in the + but this is normally a great month from me. Last year I finished +4.53, so I'm not that far off, but i'm far off my 2011 pace where I was +18 -Pretty bad collapse from the Hall. I was worried about their PG play, but even I relaxed when they went up 16 and LSU looked dead. Maayan is atrocious and should not be on the court. -More info on the collapse: +16 with 17 min left, LSU drills 6 FT in a row to end the game when they were 343rd in the nation at 53.4% -Long Beach continues to be a golden child for me in the underrated role as they overcame LMU shooting over 50% from beyond the arc to get another SU winner for me. Now 6 of my 15 wins (40%) were SU, and it makes me sad I haven't played any ML
Guesses:
GTown 6.5 USF 7 KU 9 Cuse 3 AUB 1.5 NEV 6.5
leans: ARK +8
on the radar: USF -4

#3 Posted: 11/30/2012 1:21:23 AM GWarner - Great call on LBS. Tailed that one all the way (to the bank!) despite many other very good cappers picking Marymount. The line drop was a factor but you sold me on that one all the way, man, thank you, thank you, thank you! And don't worry you will get rolling, keep up the great work |

#4 Posted: 11/30/2012 3:57:45 AM GWarner Syracuse is going to open the flood gates on Arkansas even on the road this is a very deep and consistent team I look for a double digit victory the books are giving me a present by Syracuse being favored by less than 10 |

#6 Posted: 11/30/2012 4:21:33 AM So tell me why Arkansas +8??
I think Cuse wins by 10-15 pts.
Arkansas isn't a great shooting team....they average about 4 3's a game....nothing significant for me to think Arkansas will cover. |

GTown 6.5 USF 7 KU 9 Cuse 3 <<< Syracuse -8 right? AUB 1.5 NEV 6.5 leans: ARK +8 <<< also this contradict with the Syracuse mentioned above on the radar: USF -4 |

Glad you had me on that one, now if only you tailed seton hall too then I'd be 2-0 and in a much better mood as I sit at my desk...
Ha, just kidding but I appreciate the support. I guess it's nice when +3u is below-average for a month.

I guess this response is for hoat, mrsure and obviously kjh... The Cuse is very good especially now that Carter-Williams looks like the real deal, but they never go on the road in the early season and only did this year because they thought they'd be the only carrier game.
Speaking of that one, they won because SDSU couldn't make a shot from outside. You can certainly argue it was the Cuse length in the 2-3 that did it, but I think the elements played a big part. Arkansas shot the ball well last year from beyond the arc and the second year of Mike Anderson's 40 minutes of hell should be much improved and more dangerous.
Boeheim likes to have his kids push it in transition and Brandon Triche can certainly do it, just not sure about MCW as a transition PG because I haven't really seen him in action. Arkansas will run as often as possible and they were a good 3pt shooting team in my opinion last ear, especially at home. They've had some chemistry stuff go wrong leading to BJ Young's suspension for the opener (best player), but he hasn't missed a beat. He dropped 29 the other night in a loss and losing both in the mini tournament did surprise me. This makes me think they'll be very hungry and the Cuse is walking into a lion's den at Bud Walton arena.
My guess was Cuse -3 so the number seems very large in my estimation. I want to see where it goes, but I would not advocate a play on the Orange tonight whatsoever. Not sure I want the Hogs, but I'm looking at it |

USF is likely not a play so it's hardly a strong one. They are a really tough team to lay points with because they're made to play tight, defensive games. I don't think uga is very good but they do have some nice recruits and USF has been a disappointment so far.
If it continues to drop it could be a play, but it feels like the sharps are on the dawgs |

Sniffing around Arkansas, hoping for some movement back up but not likely gonna jump in until I get a better feel for the Hogs. Still no interest in the Cuse |
