Seriously people. Do you really think you can find a legit local on here? If they are willing to take a stranger on a website what does that say about them? If you are a legit local, why in the world would you take someone on here as a client when all they have to do is put a few bucks up front and can have their choice of several different books with 24hr access, many more wagering options(yes even if you use a website) and the security of knowing they get paid if they win. Answer, they don't have the money to put up.
I really would love to hear a no bull shit experience where a local takes a client from Covers and they have both paid and have a good relationship. I know some of the criminal dead beats on here by username or real name and if anyone posts about situations that have worked I bet their names come up and they likely haven't had to pay any real sum of money on a payout.

Yes, I would say at least 80% of those people won't pay any substantial loss and maybe just any loss. I have advertised for a local because I am in the 20% but those that approached me seemed at best stiffs waiting to happen so I decided not to mess with them and just post up at a number of books.
And finally yes, I ran a book and took clients from here back in 2007 and 2008 and 8 of 10 would eventually stiff me. at least 50% would stiff on the first payment even if they have been paid prior.

I had some new guys this year and what a headache.I no longer even fool with it.
