LSU has plenty of offense, but if its boils down to defense and it always does, the Tigers are in trouble. Death Valley my be our only salvation!

Florida is lucky to not get LSU at night but I don't think they stay within a TD of the Tigers.  LSU's offense is very good this season, better than anything UF has seen.  Hard to stop a team that can take advantage of whatever you give them and LSU's depth at RB combined with a quality QB throwing to NFL talented receivers is just too much to contain.  That isn't a knock on Florida's defense, just saying too many weapons in LSU's portfolio and Cameron is a top notch Offensive Coordinator.

LSU doesn't have their usual shut-down defense but Florida doesn't have much to work with on offense to exploit the weaknesses LSU has.  Murphy is an improvement at QB over Driskell but he hasn't played on the road in an environment like Death Valley.  Average RBs and receivers to work with.  Need to look at this more but definitely going with LSU, just deciding how strong to play it.

Who has LSU  beaten?  Georgia's defense is awful this year.  LSU has not seen a defense even close to Florida's yet.  This should be an interesting game, probably coming down to a field goal.  Low scoring game.

IMHO

LSU  Miss St. D is prolly the equal of FLA eventually they tire in the second half and LSU has the new dimension of a passing game that cna hurt you deep.  Even weaker D's have potential to step up on there home turf.

This is possibly Floridas best defense ever and when they did blitz Arkansas QB had no time to throw anything more than 10 yards down the field. Mettenberg is going to be clobbered on the corner blitz and unless Odel Beckham can make the hot route remains to be seen. Florida will give up an easy touchdown to start game as they have for the past 3 years, but Florida will have some plays and sets LSU hasnt seen from the Gators this year. Florida 24 LSU 20

Looked at the matchups again and still see LSU as a decisive winner in this game.  I respect Florida's defense but LSU has too many weapons to contain, strong, smash mouth running game, 2 outstanding receivers, mature, settled QB with a accurate arm.  LSU's defense is still growing but Florida doesn't have the offense to exploit it like Georgia did.  Murphy will have a problem communicating in the noise of Death Valley, but even if he didn't, what has he got to work with?  Average RBs and below average receivers will not rip the LSU defense even with their LB problems.  I think LSU will be working from short fields due to UF's poor offense, and not sustaining drives will wear the defense down.  I see LSU by 10-17 on Saturday afternoon.

LSU     27          Florida      13         Four unit play for me

With you Mac  Il take my chances with LSU at home.  LSU isnt generating a pass rush but there secondary is looking very good.  I havent seen Les Miles use the blitz much yet this season this could be the week!

This looks enticing!  The books not showing the Tigers a lot of respect by installing them around a td at home.  My computer thinks LSU may not be "all that" in this situation. I tend to agree.

I agree with your highlighted statement…  Florida has the best defense in the country and with that new kid under center they are a much better team than they were with that Driskol kid…  The only problem is Will Muschamp!!!  His style of play prevents his team from being truly dominant and keeps them out of the National Championship conversation…  He’s at the wheel of a Porsche and he drives it like a KIA which is why that Moneyline (+230) is not an option, but that defense keeps it close enough to cover the chalk.

With that said, put me down for Florida plus a Touchdown for three (3) C-Notes please.  Thanks!

Good Game , I think ill watch it and eat popcrn instead.

Its gonna come down to who does the most mistakes and that could be either team. Their pretty evenly matched.

My heart goes to LSU , cause I cant stand the Gators

SO LSU money line ( but bet something else)

It’s painful to watch Mushchamp prevent all those Thoroughbreds on the offensive side of the ball from aggressively going after defenses…  When are the powers that be at the University of Florida going to realize the golden boy they hired is nothing more than a defensive coordinator…  At any rate, nice job Louisiana State and Under backers!
