The Giants have struggled against Latos, but being a fan I still remember the last time that Latos had the chance to continue his teams season and possibly end the Giants season......he talked smacked to the opposing pitcher Jonathan Sanchez who would end up getting the game winning triple off Mat. With Cain going up against him, I feel confident in this one.
Loshe in two games has combined for 14 K's against the Nat's. While he did give up a grand slam in the first inning of his last start against them, he then went on to dominate for the next 5 innings which also has me leaning towards taking the Cardinals on the ML and possibly at -1.5RL too.
The A's are a team of destiny right now and when thinking of the outcomes of this game I like the fact that the only team I see blowing out the other is the A's over the Tigers. I feel no matter what this A's teams momentum will keep them close, and if it is a close game and comes down to bullpens I trust in the A's more so than the Tigers. Another outcome I could see though is the A's jumping on the board early and scoring 3 runs on Verlander. Then if Parker gets through 6 innings with the lead still in tact, then that could very well be the end of it for the Tigers.
